The next 10 months are destined to be the nastiest and most corrupt in the memories of most Americans.
The Democrats have Hillary leading the pack. Her lies and deceptions are likely to begin to take a toll as her opponents of both stripes use them to gain in the polls. Bernie Sanders, understandably, appeals to young people who believe he and his socialist policies will restore their hope for the future. I see a third party run in the making.
On the Republican side, all leaders at this point are considered outsiders. The Republican establishment is apoplectic. They are strategizing to move one of their favorite sons into a lead position.
The surge in Republicans who want the party to reflect the wishes of the people is a real phenomenon and proves to be one best show in town. Conservatives, who traditionally are registered Republican and who remain registered, fear a third party will cost the election. The establishment doesn't seem to care.
On both sides of this Presidential season we see a battle for the respective parties. Apathy by the people could be the deciding factor. Because, believe me, neither Party is apathetic.
