The Scam Gang

I surely cannot be the only one being inundated with hundreds of emails telling me I have won or been left or qualified for millions of dollars? Microsoft, Fedex, Hong Kong Bank, Mazda, companies and institutions in the U.K. and Nigeria, have all been sending these emails to me. There are some account managers at some Asian and African banks, who are the executors of wills with only me as the beneficiary to give the money to – but I must be quiet, you understand so please don’t spread it around.

At last count, when I get all this money, I believe I’ll have enough to sit down with the US and Canadian auto guys, bail them all out, and still have enough to be the biggest donor in the Clinton Library (I wonder if that library has Monica Lewinsky’s biography?). All these emails ask me for is every scrap of relevant information about me. Now you don’t think they are up to identity theft, do you? I guess it isn’t theft if you give it to them. So, being the careful and suspicious guy I am after almost being caught a while back I did not of course offer my information. But I’ll tell you what I did do. I copied and made a list of the return email addresses until I had about 30 or more. I then copied that list so I had 60 on a document which I named “SCAMGANG.” Then I copied it again so I had 120. The next time I received one of these scammer’s letters I forwarded it to the 120 other scammers – not only once but in the cc and bcc slots as well. Then I hit the back button and did it again 3 or 4 times. That means they could potentially receive1440 emails from fellow scammers. Each time I got one I added that name to the list and sent it out. Just think of the camaraderie and fellowship they must all be having. I have made charitable donations and I’m sure there must be a way these guys access lists of donors and think we’re all a soft and gullible touch and I’m sure they do have some success. However, lately I haven’t received many of these scammails. I think they’ve given up on me -- and that’s a shame because I was thinking of sending them Bill’s library email address.
