Though you’ll never be tipped by Gawker or the Toronto Star, at least one shocking Toronto City Council video existed long before the still-never-publicly-aired Mayor Rob Ford smoking crack video that now even Democrat strategist James Carville is advocating as a pry to pull President Barack Obama up out of his current popularity slump.
The Toronto Councillor Paula Fletcher video, below is perfect proof how some city councillors treat their own taxpayers when they think no one’s looking. Not just any councillor, Fletcher is the former leader of the Manitoba Communist Party--twice running in provincial elections and twice garnering less than 2 percent of the popular vote.
For those who will be quick to point out that Fletcher later apologized for her vicious diatribe against a taxpayer who dared to follow through on Toronto City Council’s invite during 2010 budget deliberations, later apologized for her video-taped conduct, the Canada Free Press response is: So did Rob Ford apologize for admitting he smoked crack during one of his drunken stupors “maybe about a year ago”.
Joining up with the American far left, the holier-than-thou Canadian left have found a new way to exploit the ideal of Conservatism in office. The new way to the destroy any hope of ever electing smalll-c conservatives to public office has a name: the Exploitation of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.
