The Two-Party System Illusion

Uniparty political machine composed of the arrogant, elitist, professional, lifetime, corrupt, career politicians;

For most of my adult life I believed America had a two-party political system where the Democrats and Republicans were patriotic, loyal-to-America opposites of each other. I began questioning that a few years ago.

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is likely just as bad and deep in the Republican political machine as with Democrats

With things that have happened this midterm election cycle, I recognize that our two-party paradigm is an illusion and anyone still giving that concept credibility is delusional.

Montana RINOs, including a former Republican Governor, Marc Racicot, were stumping for the socialist Democrat running in Montana’s 1st Congressional District. Then in Texas, Bush family members were stumping for socialist James Talarico instead of Ken Paxton. That demonstrates two things. First, Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is likely just as bad and deep in the Republican political machine as with Democrats.

Second, having said that, I think the more serious issue is that there is no Republican political machine and there is no Democrat political machine; there is just a uniparty political machine composed of the arrogant, elitist, professional, lifetime, corrupt, career politicians who believe they are the only people in the world smart enough to run the United States.

We have a monstrous red flag waving right in our faces. Currently, many Democrats and notable Republicans are so anti-Trump that they now find socialists and Islamists acceptable because they hate the fact that Donald Trump has done what they have failed to do. President Trump has embarrassed them so badly and demonstrated to the world that professional politicians are nothing more than corrupt windbags that make empty promises but can do nothing more than tax and spend hard-earned taxpayer dollars.

President Trump has proven that good business practices work for government as well as for the private sector. Too many of our “professional politicians” haven’t worked a day in their lives outside of government.

The founders feared the development of a ruling class

These bloodsuckers have operated the government as if they had unlimited funds available and used taxpayers as if they were an ATM machine. President Trump respects taxpayers like no other President in my lifetime. He knows, because he has worked hand in hand with working people, how hard these people work for home and family.

President Donald Trump is the perfect example of what the Founding Fathers and Framers of the Constitution had in mind for people to serve in government—a competent person who comes to serve in the government but then returns to the private sector. The founders feared the development of a ruling class, whether elected or by some other form of appointment. The elitists of America’s ruling-class uniparty is exactly what the founders feared. Judging by the 40-trillion-dollar-plus national debt, I would say the founders’ fears were warranted.

As hard as it is for me to say, and as hard as it is for you to hear, it is time for Americans to recognize that the corrupt uniparty political machine must be destroyed. It isn’t working for the American taxpayers and is only making lifetime politicians rich at taxpayers’ expense. Everything that is wrong in America is the product of an out-of-control ruling class of professional politicians. President Ronald Reagan told us that government isn’t the solution to our problems; government is the cause of our problems. It is time to initiate a paradigm shift.

As evidence, I submit the following: More than 80% of Americans want potential voters to prove they are American citizens entitled to legally vote in national elections. More than 80% of Americans want voter photo identification presented at the time of voting. Yet not one single Congressional Democrat voted to support these measures.

Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump, neither of whom were professional politicians

Sadly, notable Republicans hate President Trump so much (TDS) that they have chosen to support Democrats who are socialists and Islamists instead of Republicans.

To me, these characteristics demonstrate that the corrupt uniparty political machine is more important to the self-absorbed, professional, elitist, career politicians than the United States Constitution and the voters who put them in office. National-level Republicans and Democrats are just the flip side of the same corrupt political coin that has made so many of them rich: a corrupt political machine for which they are willing to sell their souls to keep fully operational.

Since January 3, 2025, America has been awakened to just how dirty and corrupt the American government officials have been. In the last half-century, American taxpayers have literally bled trillions of dollars in fraud, waste, and abuse. The corruptocrats in Congress failed miserably in their duty to the taxpayers to oversee and assure that taxpayers’ money was spent as directed. They were simply too busy getting rich to watch America’s purse. Well, now that corrupt cat is out of the bag, and Americans are watching, annoyed, and are getting angrier and angrier as more and more fraud is uncovered.

Arguably, the two best Presidents in the last 75 years were Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump, neither of whom were professional politicians. There is a message there. The Founding Fathers and Framers of the Constitution were right in their concerns about a ruling class.

What have the professional, career politicians given Americans?

We American voters can easily change the paradigm and eliminate the professional political ruling class that is causing us so many problems. We simply have to “primary” every incumbent and select people who only want to serve their fellow citizens, not people who want a career in politics.

What have the professional, career politicians given Americans? First, a 40-trillion-dollar national debt that is increasing at the rate of 3.8 million dollars every minute. Second, millions of pages of laws, rules, and regulations that are beyond comprehension. No single person can understand them, and without a doubt every person in America is violating one or more of these statutes every single day. Third, all politicians trade on fearmongering to get re-elected. Simply look at every political advertisement we have seen during the mid-term election; fear is their stock in trade. Career politicians have become an expensive liability for America.

"The power under the Constitution will always be in the people." ~ George Washington

We can pull the flush handle on all career Congressmen in 2028 and vote in all new representatives. We can pull the flush handle on Senators in as little as six years, and vote in all new Senators. However, we must first accept the reality that our current two-party political system is an illusion and has failed us, and it is up to us to fix it. As George Washington points out, American voters have the power. It is simply a matter of whether or not we are willing to use it. Are we?
