Testosterone Harper definitely had a leg up on Estrogen Clinton. It’s great to see that Prime Minister Harper does have an ethical and moral high ground with respect to abortion. While many women, pro-choice groups and other political parties may disagree with his recent decision, Mother Teresa would be proud of him.
In February 1997, Mother Teresa remarked at the White House Prayer Breakfast, with President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton -- two unswerving supporters of abortion -- "What is taking place in America is a war against the child and if we accept that the mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another."
The media is doing a great job at attacking the Pope and the Catholic Church in the child abuse cases. While justified in their stance, I am confident that every religion and the media itself, has just as many skeletons in the closet. Perhaps the media could concentrate on Jewish Rabbis selling body parts across the globe and the State of Israel being a major contributor to the sale and extraction of illegal body parts in Eastern Europe. We will not mention what they are doing with the corpses of deceased Palestinians.
What we choose to talk about and what we choose to correct is a function of dirty politics and not religion. The embryo has become the victim of secularist paranoia and a culture who has embraced excess and vice.
Way to go Harper.......you will be rewarded for your wisdom.
