After eight years of Obama's Leftist socialist progressivism, a rebellion of the Silent Majority took place, with Donald Trump being chosen by them to lead their movement

They failed to purge the American Way

During the last eight years we have experienced a non-violent coup d'etat attempt against the American Way. Under the banner of Fundamental Transformation, the political-media cabal of the Left attempted to absolutely dismantle everything from free market capitalism to heterosexual marriage to physiological sexual identity at birth to judging people by the content of their character. This year's Presidential election revealed the success and failure of this coup attempt. While this Fundamental Transformation was a complete success in the minds of its adherents, it was an utter failure in creating a unified society behind its premises.

Democrat/media predictors of voters rejecting a Trump presidency were dumbfounded by Donald Trump's victory

The failure of the coup d'etat became clear on the night of November 8 - clear to those who were able to accept the results, anyway. As the election results came in, Democrat/media predictors of voters rejecting a Trump presidency were dumbfounded by Donald Trump's victory. And many of them still refuse to lend any legitimacy to the election results. Looking to carry their coup d'etat through to completion, they plot how to disrupt everything from the Electoral College vote on December 19, to the presidential Inauguration on January 20. But if the election can be called a mandate, it is a mandate to restore the American Way. To define what the American Way is, we can start by saying it is NOT the European Way. While the American Way of a free association of states was coming into being, the nations of Europe were engaged in war after war to gain home and colonial territories from each other. Kings and military dictators continued to rule and clash with one another in Europe while a unique system of participatory government was succeeding and flourishing in the New World.

Progressivism in the 1890s under the banner of populism led to greater government control over our lives and businesses

As America severed all connections with the European Way of feudal monarchical colonialism, the European nations remained enmeshed in it. Our nation came into being with a violent departure from the European Way. Guerilla tactics such as the Boston Tea Party developed into a full-fledged War for Independence from the British and King George III. That distinction of the two Ways first became evident on the international stage with the Spanish-American War. The U.S. occupation of several nations and territories previously held by a dying Spanish Empire was carried out according to the American Way. Rather than setting up a strict mercantilist economy with a government that answered directly to the mother country, as the European colonial powers were prone to do, they either became a part of the United States as a territory (Guam, Puerto Rico) or were set on the path to independence (Cuba right away, the Philippines later). At the same time, though, efforts to Europeanize America were at work. Progressivism in the 1890s under the banner of populism led to greater government control over our lives and businesses and a lesser role of states in our federal government.

Government's transition to the European Way of people putting their absolute trust in centralized authority

Then the presidential administration of Franklin Roosevelt completed our government's transition to the European Way of people putting their absolute trust in centralized authority. President Reagan helped to restore the American Way, but, as it should be, the President cannot make dictatorial change and he faced a lot of resistance to it. His policies had to be implemented through a Congress filled with entrenched politicians unwilling to return governmental power to the people. The Congress elected in 1994 represented a re-awakening of the American voter to the American Way and to our role in making our federal government of, by, and for the people. But the forces of centralized government continued to gain ground and with the election of Barack Obama to the presidency, they went full speed ahead. However, after eight years of Obama's Leftist socialist progressivism, a rebellion of the Silent Majority took place, with Donald Trump being chosen by them to lead their movement. By the time the nearly fourteen month presidential campaign was over, conservatives, populists, and disaffected Democrats had joined together to oppose and defeat the candidate that represented a continuation of the Obama administration's attempt to methodically destroy any vestiges of the American Way. Now, it is up to the American people to stay involved in the political process to see that the American Way is restored and remains a beacon of freedom to the world.
