Thorium nuclear energy

I have read the above stated article and have read many others from IER over the last number of years.

As of now, I do not remember ever reading about Thorium nuclear energy. Could this be the new nuclear energy that is being used/developed for the 60 smaller nuclear plants to be built in China and India? I can’t believe that IER has not heard of Thorium as a nuclear energy. But if you have not, here is a link to a five minute video that will get you started. If thorium is the nuclear fuel that it is said to be, then you must promote it as an alternative to all other energy sources. Everyone that I mentioned Thorium to as a clean safe nuclear power have never heard of it. This needs to change if we are to get rid of the bird and bat slaughtering machines that are held up as our only green alternative. Regards, Rick.
