Time for the American Strike

There comes a time in everyone’s life when tough decisions have to be made. It could pertain to which school to attend, what job to take, how to discipline your child or what to do with an aging parent. We all face these issues on a daily basis. Only the names change, as these are universal issues that are a part of life no matter where you live in the world. Although universal, these decisions are very personal and each person reaches their own solutions and must live with the consequences. But what do you do when the problems are not truly personal but you are affected by the decisions of others.

How can one man, woman or child make a difference in the world or in their own country? The task isn’t easy and the problem is deciding what the problem really is, whether there really is a problem or if it is just in your head. Personal problems are easier to deal with when they affect you or the people close to you that you know. Friends and family are there for support if needed and their input can be weighed with any discussion. Problems that face a nation are different. It is full of strangers and personalities that you see on television or listen to on the radio. As you watch and listen carefully you are not certain of the reality of what you see and here. You see it so it must be real. You read it and it must be true. You are confused so you do your own research. You combine the information and reach your own conclusions. Talking to others provides additional input and provides a clearer picture of reality or perhaps simply a better understanding. This intelligence gathering is helpful in order to get your arms around the problem or the issue. At some point you become fixed in your opinion based upon your research. Now that you know the problem, how do you solve it? Again, decisions that are personal are somewhat easier, when they affect others, where do you begin. Thinking on a conscious level doesn’t always produce quick results. The subconscious mind has to play a big part. Unfortunately, it takes time to formulate and you don’t know when the light bulb moment occurs to provide clarity. When it does, it can be profound. At least you think it is in the wee hours of the morning when it comes to you. At this moment it is like drinking from a fire hose. The information and solutions come at you so fast it is hard to keep the thoughts straight. It is like someone is putting the information into your head and you can’t absorb it fast enough. You keep writing until the it begins to slow down. You need rest. You can sleep now that you have uncovered a not so unique solution that could make a difference. It could change the tide and channel a nation and its citizens who are all strangers into a unified group as Patriotic Americans. We would take a stand. The way others have in the past. A peaceful stand and a powerful one. A stand not by politicians but by the people. The world would listen and we will be heard. This time it won’t be a Democratic, Republican or Libertarian politician saying yes we can, it will be a nation. Unified to force change we can believe in. Welcome to The American Strike.

IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE

History does in fact repeat itself. Those who are not aware or do not believe it are destined to live through the events of the past. Examples date back to early America, however, we don’t need to go back that far. People today need examples that occurred in their lifetime that they can relate to. History will provide us the foundation and confidence that our founders overcame national challenges and give us strength. Recently, in Michigan, we saw factory workers go on strike and lock themselves up with plant management to effect change. We saw Ronald Regan deal with air traffic controllers who went on strike. It was a challenge for President Reagan. I won’t comment on whether the strike was justified or not but it put the nation at risk. He made a difficult decision and replaced all the controllers. He won over those who were trying to hold the airline industry and the public hostage. Most American were on his side. He did what he had to do. What might have happened if the air traffic controllers locked themselves in the control towers and landed all the planes and stopped service across the country. The outcome might have been very different. It is time for Americans to take action. The time is now. The time for conversation will come afterwards. The American Strike will not be a mutiny. We are not seeking to take over the ship. We want to be heard loud and clear that “WE THE PEOPLE” object to what has occurred and is occurring since January 20, 2009. We are mad as hell and we are not going to take it anymore. The government represents all American and we must prove it. Not tomorrow but today. Effective July 4, 2009, I am requesting that we Americans across the nation not simply honor our independence on Independence Day, but declare our independence! Our politicians must get the message. We watch in horror as our fellow world brothers and sisters were gunned down and beaten in Iran as they attempted to declare their independence. They want we have and they are willing to fight and die for what we have. We have our independence and want to keep it. Are you willing to fight for it? I hope you are but we should not have to. Saul Alinsky provided the playbook for radicals. What he didn’t realize is that you do not have to be an elitist with an ivy league education or a lawyer to know how to read. We haven’t seen his antidote for “rules for radicals” when those he fought against played by his rules. We are now about to find out. Unlike the closet followers of Alinski, we will tell you we are following his rules. We are not organizing a community, we are organizing a nation. We were told there would be an end to lobbyists in the oval office; we were told taxes would not go up; we were told money thrown at the auto industry would be a good investment and American would get a return on their investment. Half the nation believed and the other half was skeptical. Now we are a majority of non- believers and see politicians as bold face liars. Now the time has come for real change. Effective July 5, We declare the start of “THE AMERICAN STRIKE” and INDEPENDENCE WEEK and launch our web site at [url=http://www.theamericanstrike.com]http://www.theamericanstrike.com[/url]. We are requesting that all Americans stay home from work. Regardless of where you work or what you do. Stay home. This won’t be easy but you must recognize that as Americans we are united, not divided as the politicians have made us since the election. Now we must prove it. In California and New Jersey, the Governors have furloughed its citizens. They received no pay for the days they were forced to take off. Consider this your initiated furlough. No matter where you work or what you do, stay home. The only exception should be those in the health care industry, specifically doctors, nurses, hospitals and clinics. We cannot abandon citizens that are in need of medical attention and services. We know that your thoughts will be with those who stay home as we get the attention of our politicians. On July 6, stay home. Check the web site for news, updates and instructions. We know that the web site will be attacked and threatened. If it is, stay home until it comes back up. We will report the activities as the day unfolds. Watch the News. Pick your preferred news channel and watch it all day. Please do not watch anything else. This will send a message to the media and advertisers that “WE THE PEOPLE” have a voice in what we watch. They are concerned about their ratings and they will listen. Don’t go to movie theaters. Send a message to Hollywood that we are their reason for success. We are going to do to those that run the country what they have been doing to us. On July 7, more will stay home On July 8, even more will stay home. On July 9, even more will stay home On July 10, target 50 million staying home. The MSM must pick it up on all stations. They won’t know what we want or what could come next. We will watch the actions of the politicians and see what they do. We want answers and a stop to the uncontrolled spending. We can do this. No one can take it away from us, like flying the American Flag. Fly the American Flag. Tell your friends and relatives to act. It won’t hurt and hopefully will be the start of real change we can believe in. Are you with us? There is only one right answer if you believe in America.
