Institution driven by Liberal, Socialist and Anti-American ideology

Time to Clean-up Canada’s Partisan Public Service

Recently, Allan Cutler joined me for a discussion, on my webcast, THE RIGHT SIDE. We were talking about how the upper echelon of the Public Service of Canada has become almost like a secret society.

We discussed how it has created rules of protection for itself which has ended up creating an institution driven by Liberal, Socialist and Anti-American ideology. The upper-end of the public service and the Courts in Canada have demonstrated intolerance to any view of Canadian society but its own. Witness the recent persecution of published free speech by the Federal and Provincial Human Rights commission against journalists and publishers like Mark Steyn, Ezra Levant and Mark and Connie Fournier of the Free Dominion website. At a hearing before the Alberta Human Rights Commission, Levant accurately described the Commission representative as an “Inquisitor” and a “Thug” and the Commission itself as having no moral authority to sit in judgment. The Canadian Human Rights commission has declared that “truth is no excuse.” Words that would have warmed the hearts of men such as, Stalin, Hitler, Castro and Trudeau. Given the imbalance in our elected governments since Confederation, 70% Lib 30% Con., the Liberal Prime Ministers, through their powers of appointment, have had an overwhelming influence on the shaping of the ideology of the Public Service. Therefore, it stands to reason that a Liberal-oriented Public Service would resist and undermine the implementation of any Conservative government’s policies. Policies they consider as “foreign to Canadian values.” Our recent history with the extended reign of Pierre Elliott Trudeau as Prime Minister of Canada (1968-84) and the follow-on boost given his view of Canada by the regime by his closest disciple, Jean Chretien (1993-2004) has seen an unprecedented stacking of the most senior levels of the Public Service, Crown Corporations, Federal and Supreme Courts, Commissions, DM’s, ADM’s, etc., etc, with devotees of fundamentalist Trudeauism. The modern Public Service has always been able to count on a relatively quick return to power by the Liberals. This has enabled them to erect what could be called "heat shields" to ward off serious discipline and accountability. The legacy of the grand old mandarins who guided us through the crises of war and depression in the last century has been tossed by people who I have no problem describing in English street-slang as TOSSERS. Being in a position of near invulnerability so far as job security goes has emboldened the politically correct disciples of Trudeau. They have busily exercised their free-hand to direct the way public money has been used to validate the various social manipulations that have been concocted and then foisted on Canadians. The whining by Official Languages Commissioner, Graeme Fraser over the cancellation of the Courts Challenges Program says it all. Graeme Fraser, the perfect public servant...in Vichy France, or Quisling Norway, maybe. We have witnessed the on-going arrogance of Fraser and the likes of Supreme Court Justice Beverly McLachlan who crossed the unwritten line when she spoke out against the Harper Government’s plan to open the process for selecting judges to include input from police. Good old Bev is more concerned about keeping the closed shop process which perpetuates the favouring of violent criminals in sentencing. That arrogance was seen on an almost daily basis from the disgraced, former RCMP commissioner Guiliano Zaccardelli, the various retired and pension-fat Department of Public Works mandarins before the Commons Finance Committee looking into Ad-scam and most recently, Linda Keen, the president of the Canadian Nuclear Regulatory Commission. These are the people who direct our tax dollars based on promoting their social ideologies, most of which run counter to the will and morality of the majority of Canadians. (read: LIBERAL) More and more, Canada has become polarized; politically, socially and culturally. The so-called centre is praying for a leader to take a strong, pointed and solid pro-Canadian and North American position. Sitting on the fence is one of the reasons the Harper Conservatives are not getting the approval in the opinion polls they seem to think they deserve. The devotion to political correctness and special interest vote-wooing, is the reason for the great wavering in support among mainstream Canadians. They see their country increasingly deserting their values and subverting fairness to block their aspirations and those of their children. In Ottawa, it’s business as usual with Liberal-minded top ranking public servants doing their best to buffalo Tory ministers. Mr. Harper must tap into the pulse of mainstream Canadians, who see themselves as being pushed to the margins by the obsessive quest of his Party to buy the support of disparate ethnic groups and of course, Quebeckers; who have come to expect taxpayer funded support for their various cultures, lifestyles and employment favouritism.. It’s time for the Conservatives to recognize, that discontent and anger is growing. No one blames the favoured groups for grabbing up all the goodies they can get. They’ve been offered a Free Lunch…so why not fill up. The danger for Harper and for Canada is that that anger will be expressed by many would-be Conservative voters who will stay home on election-day, rather than vote for a party that seems as committed to continuing their slide towards exclusion, in the name of cultural and linguistic “accommodation” as the Liberal Party of Stephane Dion, Citizen of France. The blatant and hostile anti-Americanism of the Liberal/Socialist/Environmentalist left is particularly dangerous. The mainstream media is wholly complicit in this exercise. The media has given the Gore-Suzuki-Soros-Strong, U.N. cartel, a scrutiny-free ride on Kyoto and Global warming. Climatologists who present material based on historical data to debunk the theories of CBC-darling Suzuki, whose scientific specialty, when he was actually doing scientific work, was Genetics…not climate are pooh-poohed and subject to derision and the overuse of alarmist words and jargon. Why hasn’t a mainstream media organization spent a few bucks to look into the links between this bunch of environmental scammers and the radical-lefties who have been hiding in the weeds since the fall of the Berlin Wall? And how about CBC-reporter, Krista Erickson? She has been identified on the blogs as the reporter who wrote questions for Liberal MPs sitting…on…of all things…the Parliamentary ethics committee. No mainstream media organization has dared identify her and John Cruikshank the head of CBC News still hasn’t fired her sorry butt. Instead he’s been doing the “how dare you call the CBC’s impartiality into question” dance. Sorry, John that outhouse was tipped over a long time ago. It’s all well and good for the artsy-fartsy, silk-stocking socialists, who continue to fester in the upper echelons of the Public Service to puff and posture and slander our blood allies and cultural kinfolk and who continue to manipulate and promote socially progressive policies. They won't be the ones paying the price. It’s the guy stirring the chocolate vat at the Hershey Plant in Smith’s Falls Ontario and the farmer, over-run by inspectors and unaccountable conservations groups…Taxpaying landowners, restricted by non-productive, ideology-driven bureaucrats, who will lose out on the opportunity to move forward. The Public Service continues to promote manipulative, social policies, the true intent of which is to promote the further, Trudeauist intrusion by government into the areas of family, business and property rights. The Australians seem to have it right. There are too many parallels between Canada and Australia to ignore the social-cultural evolution. Former Prime Minister John Howard obviously saw the festering, Islamo-fascism in places like Bradford, Yorkshire, Finsbury Park, North London and even in the affluent areas of Canada's own 905 area code. He moved to stamp it out. Demanding that if you are living in Australia…get used to the way Australians live. A man of courage will have the continuing support of the everyday people. The problem here is that no one listens to the everyday people. The virus of political correctness has paralyzed common sense political leadership. The Conservative Party of Canada should take note: Ethnic gang violence is a Canadian urban reality. Sadly, it’s doubtful the Harper Government will have the courage to put a plank in its election platform calling for the stripping of status, and deportation for convicted, criminal, landed-immigrants and demanding loyalty to Canada first; an end to the discriminatory Equity programs which have restricted FAIR access to public sector jobs. Pro-Canadian policies, based on the values that stood Canada well in the past, will strike a note with the majority of common-sense Canadians. Mike Harris told Ontario what he would do in his Common Sense Revolution document. He did it nearly a year before the 1995 election. The Conservative Party of Canada had best take a close look at that role model. It’s what the people who voted for them in 2006 expect the next time Harper comes looking for a renewed mandate. Step one would be to put the Senior Public Service on Notice. If all that sounds harsh…it was meant to.
