Time to rein in our government, Affordable Care act

I think it is well past time to rein in our government. Consider this, the Trans-Pacific Partnership is 30 chapters, 6000 pages and 2 million words. There is no congress person anywhere who has read and understands this behemoth of a bill. There is likely a foreseeable court challenge on every one of the 6000 pages. It is unlikely that any business could understand, much less comply with the bill.

To put it in context, the Bible has about 780,000 words (depending on the version). All 6 of the Harry Potter series books contain, in total, 885,943 words. The Affordable Care act contains 381,517 words - but get this, there were 11,588,500 additional words of "regulations" added after passage. So, the ACA has 12 times as many words as the Bible, which is a daunting book to read. Given the track record of verbiage by the government and considering that the TPP launches with quadruple the words of the ACA, you do the math to see where all this could end up. This is insanity of the highest order. Any Congress person who would vote to approve anything this convoluted should be removed from office for dereliction of duty. No one, and I mean no one, can tell you what is in this bill. Shame on every person who votes in favor of it.
