Today’s Democrat Party and Its Pursuit of POWER

This Article is not written, to accuse those Americans who tend to align themselves with the Democrat Party of being personally responsible for what that Party has become.

Expose the threat to the freedom of America’s citizens 

For various reasons such Americans have, in the past, chosen to support the Democrat Party thinking that doing so is beneficial to our country and especially to its less fortunate citizens. This article will explain why that is not the case and expose the threat to the freedom of America’s citizens that is the result of the policies of the Democrat Party’s LEADERS, today.

Many Americans, the author included, would prefer to see the power of government limited to the three functions that do require governmental POWER. These functions are:

1. Protection of the citizens from those outside of the country who might use force or threat of force against them in the form of a military.
2. Protection of the citizens from those inside the country who might use force or threat of force against them in the form of a police force,.
3. A means of Redress of Differences between citizens without the use of force or threat of force in the form of a Court System.

Besides the above three areas there is very little for which the application of governmental POWER is an actual necessity. It is definitely the author’s opinion that a great number of the functions currently performed by local, state or federal government could well be performed far more efficiently by the private sector.

Lyndon Johnson and Barak Obama the Democrat Party’s pursuit of POWER

Since its founding in 1828 the Democrat Party has, far too often, been on the side of increasing the POWER of government over the nation’s citizens. After supporting slavery in the Southern States both prior to and during the Civil War they created and maintained their policy of “Jim Crow” relegating black American to second class status for generations.

In the early ‘60s racist Democrat Lyndon Johnson created his “Great Society” putting poor Americans, especially poor black Americans on a Taxpayer funded Dole purely in order to control their voting.

However, during a significant part of the time since the Democrat Party’s founding, it is certain that a number of Democrat politicians were primarily focused on acquiring power for themselves and as a means of access to taxpayer money in order to use that money to “buy” more Democrat votes. Of course, some Democrat politicians have also “allowed” some portion of that taxpayer money to “find its way” into their own pockets but that is a subject for a different discussion.

Under Democrat Presidents Lyndon Johnson and Barak Obama the Democrat Party’s pursuit of POWER for its own sake increased at what should have been to America’s citizens a virtually alarming rate.

Johnson and Obama--Democrats pursuit of more unlimited POWER 

Beginning with Johnson and repeated under Obama, the Democrats pursuit of more unlimited POWER should have become painfully obvious to a majority of America’s citizens and should have been dealt with at the polls.

In this author’s opinion, the Democrat Party succeeded in stealing the national election in 2020. After that happened it became clear that some individual or very small group of individuals was in near total control of that Party and politically knew what they were doing. Whoever it is that is currently running the Democrat Party likely became convinced that they would be able to steal future elections as well and that they were indeed IN CHARGE and would remain so for the foreseeable future. As such, they increasingly began, to tell our citizens “what to do” and back up their orders with the power of government.

An example of said “assumption of power” occurred on January 6, 2021when the DC police used considerable force against those protesting the claimed outcome of the 2020 election. The overreach of government in that case resulted in (see below) protestors being arrested, some of whom are still incarcerated in 2025 and in the death of Ashli Babbitt who was shot and killed. To this date, no one has been prosecuted for her death.

Democrat “Boss or Bosses” and the Biden Presidency 

During the Biden-Harris administration, the Democrat “Boss or Bosses” were correct in their assumption of being “IN CHARGE” and were likely well on their way toward stealing the 2024 national election. Had it not been for the fortunately failed attempt on Donald Trump's life in July of 2024 they might well still be “IN CHARGE”.

It is a fact that this author has seen no credible evidence connecting that assignation attempt with the Democrat Party. However, that “near miss” did focus America’s voters on the necessity of “getting out to the polls” which we did in record numbers making that election impossible for the Democrats to steal.

Granted, the Democrat Party is now in some level of disarray, but they must not be counted out. Whoever it is that is still running that Party unquestionably has not lost their LUST for POWER and will continue to seek it unless they are stopped. To prevent that from happening it is absolutely crucial for ALL freedom loving Americans to make every effort to EXPOSE what the Democrat Party has become. By doing so, hopefully we can induce America’s voters to remove the current leadership of that Party from POWER effectively ENDING the threat to individual freedom that the Democrat Party has, unfortunately, become!
