Economics 001
The following article is the first of three that the author is, or soon will be, submitting. The second will be on understanding the basics of money. In both this and the next article, it is the author’s intention to deal strictly in very basic economic fundamentals and refrain from making or drawing political connections. The third, and last, article will reverse the focus and concentrate on the politics that affects economies and people as a result of either not understanding or of intentionally ignoring the fundamentals described in the first two articles.

Another Voter Fraud Warning

Another Voter Fraud Warning
In the past, Canada Free Press has published two of the author’s articles (Combating Voter Fraud 2010 and Combating Voter Fraud 2016) on the subject of Voter Fraud by Democrats. Although we all know that it exists, for some reason, it does not receive the attention and concern that the author, obviously, believes it should.  Perhaps this lack of concern can be explained by the mistaken belief that voter fraud primarily affects local elections and the various local areas in which it occurs. History has proven otherwise as in the 1960 presidential election between Richard M. Nixon and John F. Kennedy.

Putin Helped Who? Give Me a Break

Oct 27, 2017 — Stan McHugh

Putin Helped Who? Give Me a Break
Almost since the election of Donald Trump as President, the Mainstream Media (MSM) has subjected this country to an almost non-stop deluge of claims that the Trump campaign, if not Trump himself, somehow colluded with Vladimir Putin to influence the election on his behalf. In the past week we have learned just what a total fraud this was and who was responsible for it. However, it seems to the author that in defending Donald Trump from what we now know were false, made up claims, that a certain question should have been raised right from the start. If Mr. Putin had wanted to influence the 2016 American presidential election, which of the two candidates would it have been to his best interest to attempt to help?

Combating Voter Fraud 2016

Oct 17, 2016 — Stan McHugh

In the upcoming election our country as a nation based on individual liberty is voting for its survival. This is not an exaggeration; it is simply a fact as Hillary Rodham Clinton is, without question, one of those individuals who seek unlimited power, simply for power’s sake.

In just the past one hundred years, individuals such as Hillary have achieved unlimited power in various countries resulting in combined death tolls in the hundreds of millions. If one thinks it can’t happen here, the same opinion was doubtlessly held by a majority of Germans in 1933 when Adolph Hitler was elected Chancellor. They knew that Herr Hitler wanted power but somehow allowed themselves to be convinced that he could be controlled once he had it. History certainly showed that not to be the case. It is a very genuine risk that a Hillary Clinton presidency could be similar so all Americans who support the concept of individual freedom must act and act now to keep Hillary from achieving the power for which she so lusts.

Hillary Clinton and Power

Aug 30, 2016 — Stan McHugh

For some weeks, now, we have been hearing the message that electing Hillary Clinton would result in four more years of the dismal Obama Administration policies and unconstitutional edicts. Many knowledgeable individuals, including our esteemed editor, have been making this prediction.

However, it is this author’s considered opinion that what we would be facing would be far, far worse. The author believes that a Hillary Clinton presidency would bring about the end of constitutionally protected individual freedom in America.

All governments have one thing in common and that is power or the ability to tell those under its authority what they can, can’t and must do and back it up with force. Obviously, in a civilized society or nation, a certain amount of governmental power is necessary to provide certain services and to protect citizens from other citizens that might do them harm. However, it is the extent of that power and how those in government use it that determines, more than any other factor, the quality of life in any society or nation. Understanding this, the founders of America went to great efforts to limit the power of government.

It has become common for the term “Islamophobia” to be applied to those who are willing to speak out against Islam and the violent acts committed by Muslims across the world in the name of that religion. The term itself, according to Claire Berlinski (see, was created by The Institute for Islamic Thought which is located in Northern Virginia and is reported to be a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood. By its very nature, the word attempts to assign some sort of mental dysfunction to any who oppose Islam as the definition of a phobia is as follows:

Phobia: “an exaggerated, inexplicable and illogical fear of a particular object or class of objects.” Reference: Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary, 1977 Edition.

Something to Consider

May 29, 2016 — Stan McHugh

Hillary Clinton is disliked and distrusted by a large number of Americans and not just Republicans. One should never forget that it was strictly Democrats that threw Hillary “under the bus” in 2008 and nominated an all but unknown Senator from Illinois to run for president This occurred at a time when Hillary would almost certainly have won the general election hands down had she been nominated. It is apparent that Democrats know Hillary and who she really is far better than do Republicans.

Sharing Power

Mar 9, 2015 — Stan McHugh

The current attacks on Hillary Clinton over her secret email server do come as something of an interesting surprise. With all of the decades of scandals that have surrounded Hillary, yet been ignored by the media, one can only wonder; “What brought this on and why?” It becomes even more curious given the fact that the attacks are being carried out almost exclusively by her fellow Democrats and with the full cooperation of the Democrat-controlled media. What could be the reason that Hillary has received more negative coverage in the past week over her email server than she has over years of previous scandals, including Benghazi, where four brave Americans that might have been saved were brutally killed on her watch? There is one possible explanation that does make sense and, if correct, confirms the author’s opinion that the Democrat Party will never nominate Hillary Clinton as their candidate for President. The following explanation will provide the reasoning behind this opinion.

Anti-Impeachment Insurance

Nov 15, 2014 — Stan McHugh

If the question is asked, “What is the number one reason that any first time presidential candidate really has for selecting a running mate?” a common answer is, “Someone who could step in as president should the need arise.”

Gun Owners Beware

Jun 28, 2014 — Stan McHugh

Today’s is a dire warning of what is going to come. The headline article refers to Obama’s blatant boast that he will act with or without congress to implement some form of Amnesty.

Gun Control and Obamacare

Jan 16, 2014 — Stan McHugh

A couple of weeks back, when news appeared of Mr. Obama’s executive order to “expand” so called background checks to confirm the mental health of firearm purchasers, it seemed on the surface to be somewhat innocuous. Making it more difficult for a “mentally unstable” person to obtain a firearm does, on the surface, sound reasonable, does it not? It does until one considers two critically important factors.

Coincidence! Really?

Mar 22, 2012 — Stan McHugh

There is a saying that goes: “Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me”. Is it possible that someone is trying to fool us a second time with high gasoline prices? Is it only coincidental that for two presidential election cycles now that gasoline prices have run up sharply in the months prior to the election?

The Court of Last Resort

May 27, 2011 — Stan McHugh

It is an undeniable fact that the current administration in Washington and many members of both the House and Senate are out of control as they have been ignoring and openly defying The Constitution of the United States on a regular and repeated basis. The same is true of members of the Federal Judiciary that by legislating from the bench ignore and defy the Constitution.

Combating Voter Fraud

Sep 1, 2010 — Stan McHugh

The Democrat party is in public opinion freefall as a result of the disastrous policies of the Obama administration aided and abetted by a Democrat controlled congress. Barring an “October surprise” it is likely that most mid term elections will be won by the Republican candidate. That is, however, only if Democrat voter fraud can be kept to a minimum.
