Toronto Police Service (TPS) officers executed a search warrant at 58 Elderwood Drive, in the Bathurst and Lawrence area of Toronto on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, as a result of an ongoing investigation.
Toronto Police are now laying charges against Byron Sonne, 37, of Toronto. He is charged with:
Intimidation of Justice System Participant by Threat
Intimidation of Justice System Participant by Watch and Beset
Mischief interfere with property
Attempt mischief
Possess explosive for unlawful purpose
Weapons dangerous.
Further details will not be released as the investigation is ongoing as part of the Toronto Police Service's efforts to ensure a safe and secure G20 Summit. There is no risk to public safety and this time.
