The Department of Health and Human Services on Friday notified more than 50 organizations, including Planned Parenthood affiliates, that they will no longer receive teen pregnancy prevention grants after pushing “sexually explicit” content on kids.
The agency sent letters to several Planned Parenthood affiliates, state and local health departments, university systems, and nonprofits notifying them of the termination of Teen Pregnancy Prevention program grants. The grantees included Planned Parenthood California Central Coast; Planned Parenthood of The Heartland Inc.; the Wisconsin Department of Health; the Maryland Department of Health; the Baltimore City Health Department; the Oklahoma City-County Health Department; the Public Health Authority of Cabarrus County, North Carolina; and Hennepin County, Minnesota.
The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health’s Office of Population Affairs provides grants to organizations that promote teen pregnancy prevention, as well as organizations that write teen pregnancy prevention curricula. But HHS determined that many of the organizations were using curricula that are “medically inaccurate,” “age-inappropriate,” and “sexually explicit,” violating the statute that established the program. ---More...
Congress Must Act Immediately to Keep Planned Parenthood Defunded
This week, millions of people will gather to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday. As we reflect on our nation’s founding principles, we are reminded of the timeless truths enshrined in our Declaration of Independence: that all men are created equal with unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
For 250 years, Americans have worked to extend the blessings of life and liberty to those who had been denied them. Yet the fight to protect the most fundamental right, the right to life, remains unfinished. On the very day America celebrates, Planned Parenthood’s eligibility to receive taxpayer dollars will be restored. ---More...
Planned Parenthood Shouldn’t Get Our Tax Dollars on America’s 250th Birthday
Last year, Planned Parenthood was defunded.
And the results spoke for themselves.
Rather than redirect its focus to genuine healthcare, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin voluntarily surrendered its ACA “essential community provider” designation just to preserve its abortion business.
That’s not a healthcare organization protecting patients. That is an abortion business protecting revenue.
In July 2025, President Trump signed landmark legislation closing the loophole that allowed abortion providers to collect Medicaid reimbursements — funding that subsidized the operations, infrastructure, and political activities of the nation’s largest abortion provider. ---More...
Canada’s Euthanasia is Out of Control, Doctors Kill More Patients Than Anywhere Else
Lorne Gunter, who is a columnist and an editorial board member with the National Post wrote an excellent article that was published in the Edmonton Journal on June 24, 2026 titled: When death comes casually, MAiD out of control.
Gunter begins his article by stating that Canada legalized euthanasia 10 years ago and since parliament legalized it:
…we have become the leading country in the world for having doctors speed the deaths of their patients with a suicidal cocktail of powerful drugs.
Gunter explains how euthanasia is done:
First, there is usually an IV of sedatives to ease the patient’s stress and anxiety. Then comes a high concentration of anesthetics that lead to deep unconsciousness or coma. Finally, death is induced through neuromuscular blockers that stop the heart and end breathing. ---More...
Pro-Life Group Alarmed as Planned Parenthood Defunding Expires
As the one-year prohibition on certain federal Medicaid payments to abortion providers expires on July 4, National Right to Life expressed deep concern that taxpayer dollars will once again be available to subsidize organizations whose business depends on abortion, including Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider.
“The resumption of taxpayer funding for the abortion industry is alarming,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “For decades, Americans have objected to being forced to subsidize organizations that profit from abortion. Taxpayer dollars should support health care providers that respect the lives of both mothers and their unborn children—not organizations whose business model depends upon ending innocent human lives.”
The temporary prohibition demonstrated that Congress has the authority to prevent taxpayer dollars from flowing to the abortion industry. National Right to Life called on lawmakers to continue working toward permanent protections that ensure federal funds are directed to medical providers that offer comprehensive health care without performing or promoting abortion. ---More...
