Trump Surges Past Hillary in Three Key Swing States (THIS AIN’T NO JOKE)

The very well-respected Quinnipiac University poll came out with a poll yesterday that has three key swing states- Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida- turning to Trump. Say What The Frack?

• Ohio: Trump-41 vs Hillary-41
• Florida: Trump-42 vs Hillary-39
• Pennsylvania: Trump-43 vs Hillary-41

Note no presidential candidate has won the presidency since 1960 without winning two of these three swing states.

Is this the end of Hillary? I thought Hillary was political toast as soon as Trump won his first GOP primary in New Hampshire, in February, 2016. Oftentimes, I feel that I am the goddess Cassandra. No, no, I am not transgendering a la Olympic super star, Bruce Jenner. Though I personally think there is nothing wrong with that. It is just not my thing. More specifically, I am referring to the curse laid upon the poor goddess Cassandra who was cursed to forever foretell the future, but never to be believed. I sometimes feel that way. In February of 2016, when Trump first won the New Hampshire, GOP primary, I predicted that Trump would not only win the GOP primaries, but that he would crush Bernie. Okay my powers failed me on that one. I thought the FBI would recommend indicting Hillary for violating the Espionage Act and Bernie would be the Democratic nominee by default. I overestimated the independence and integrity of the FBI chief and his people. I thought the FBI chief would do the honorable thing and recommend indictment. An indictment is being charged criminally. Not convicted. Hillary may have skated ultimately at trial. But such an indictment against the Hillary would have torpedoed the bad ship Hillary.

Underestimating the extent of Trump’s popularity

I still think Trump will crush Hillary by over 10 points nationally. The polls are catching up with me, but they are still underestimating the extent of Trump’s popularity. Because deep in my gut, I know these Trump supporters. Many of whom are former Democrats. Many of whom are highly educated professionals, business people, men and women from the affluent suburbs. Many are black, Hispanic, Asian, South Asian, Persian, Muslim. Many are keeping low to the ground. Not showing their true colors, (pun intended). Because it is politically incorrect in certain urban centres and college towns to be for Trump. But his support is there. Quiet. Deep. Visceral. Solid. Very loyal. The silent Trumpsters are not showing their true hand, until in the privacy of the polling booth. They will vote for Trump in overwhelming numbers. On election day in November, the silent, but very deadly Trumpsters will crush Hillary’s and Bill’s dreams, once and for all. These millions of Trump supporters will drive the proverbial stake in these politically walking dead, vampirish Clintons, who have been sucking blood out of the American body politic for decades and decades.

Why has Trump surpassed Hillary?

The answers are obvious. Since the last Quinnipiac poll, Hillary has dropped 8 points. She is losing because millions and millions of people do not trust her. They believe that she is an inveterate liar, who puts her personal interests above even American national security interests. A majority of the American people believe Hillary should have been indicted for her alleged crimes in maintaining a private server and private email system outside the secure control and custody of the American government and for receiving and sending top security American documents through her unsecure Blackberries, which probably were hacked by America’s enemies. And Hillary lied and lied and lied and lied some more about not sending and receiving Classified documents, even when they were marked, “C”. Hillary is not stupid. She is just a horrible, horrible person, whose every utterance is a lie. But this time her lies had national security implications. And the American people have had it with Hillary and the slimy slick Willy whose foundation received millions and millions of dollars from the worst Arab nations in the world, while Hillary was Secretary of State. The Arab sheiks and potentates did not send millions to Bill out of the goodness of their dark hearts. They wanted influence. They wanted access. They wanted their interests protected by Hillary as one of the most powerful members of the Obama Administration. And they got what they paid for. The said Quinnipiac poll concludes as follows: “By wide margins, voters in each state agree with the statement, "The old way of doing things no longer works and we need radical change." Voters also agree by wide margins that trade agreements with other countries have hurt them and their families' financial situation. 

Voters still say Clinton is more intelligent than Trump and that she is better prepared to be president. But Clinton has lost her wide lead over Trump for having "higher moral standards." And Trump widens his lead over Clinton for being more honest and trustworthy. “ We are now in July, four months from the November election. By wide margins, the American people in these three swing states and in the entire country, believe “the old way of doing things no longer works and we need radical change.” Millions of Americans also believe that “ trade agreements with other countries have hurt them and their families’ financial situation.” These views are rock solid. They will not change in the next 4 months, no matter how many millions of dollars Hillary wastes on negative Trump ads. Hillary represents the old way of doing things. Hillary represents the very unpopular NAFTA agreement, which Bill pushed for and signed. Hillary was in favor of the The Trans Asia Pacific Trade Agreement before she was against it. Ha Ha! Trump is the change candidate. Hillary is the untrustworthy establishment candidate whom the American people believe is responsible for their worse financial situation. Say good night, Hillary. You are history.
