Tune out PBS

You’re mad—but you don’t have to take it anymore! There’s little you can do about the bias you see on ABC, MSNBC and CBS! But when it comes to PBS (Public Broadcasting Service), which is kept totally afloat in part by your money and your government’s money, you don’t have to take it anymore. You can join the Tune Out PBS campaign by never sending them a dime of your money when they solicit your donations during their frequent on-air public donation requests. Without your money, PBS will not be able to function and will, over time, sink like a leaky boat to the bottom of the lake.

On the non-political side, PBS presents good programming, but when it comes to politics they are as biased as MSNBC and the others. American Family Association Founder and Chairman Donald E. Wildmon has called PBS “probably the most liberal network in America”. With a reach of some 354-member TV stations in the United States, including some member stations in Canada, the influence of PBS is significant. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, largely funds its operations. The US Congress gives PBS hundreds of millions of tax dollars to help support the network. The most effective way for you to tune out PBS is to refuse to donate a dime to its support. Let the telephones remain silent during public donation soliciting at biased, left-leaning PBS.
