The new left-wing poster boys are really something

Two more weirdos arrested for threatening violence against Republicans

I think the guy on the right kind of looks like Max Gale of Barney Miller fame. The guy on the right just looks like an idiot, but then the look in the eyes is mere confirmation when you know what he was up to earlier in the day:

The Pima County Sheriff’s office confirmed that Mark Prichard, 59, was arrested on Thursday at Flake’s Tucson office.

According to an aide to Flake, Prichard told a staffer:

“You know how liberals are going to solve the Republican problem? ... They are going to get better aim. That last guy tried, but he needed better aim. We will get better aim.”

You might also end up with more wounded (or dead) Republicans. Steve Scalise isn’t out of the woods yet, by the way. Yesterday his condition was downgraded from fair back to serious and he was readmitted to ICU with an infection. Keep praying that James Hodgkinson doesn’t and up a murderer posthumously. Pray that for Scalise’s sake, not for Hodgkinson’s.

As for these two clowns, Prichard and Diehl, here’s what I wonder: We know that in the mainstream world, everyone condemned Hodgkinson’s actions and regarded them as beyond the pale. No one who lives in this world would think they’d be seen as a hero for making more such threats. No one would smugly grin for their friends when being booked for threatening people’s lives, expecting to get high fives and free beer when finally released.

But what is the consensus thinking in the world where these two chuckleheads live? If you spend all your time around other left-wingers or reading left-wing sites, are people really sitting around bemoaning that it’s come to violence and declaring that this is never right, under any circumstances, regardless of the players?

Or . . . aren’t they? And is that why these guys look so excited about the reception they’re going to get when they’re released?
