UN Guterres calls for dismantling petro-based economy to “save” humanity

UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, April 2023

Carbon dioxide is to blame for all of society’s ills and is the ultimate demon that is killing life on earth. That’s the stance of United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres and his cohort of megalomaniacal selected leaders of the world.

In a scientifically insupportable address to a congress of climate change advocates in Dubai, Guterres declared “fossil fuels” not only to be “incompatible with human survival” but to be the overall problem endangering the earth, “period.”

The concept that the one so-called greenhouse gas, CO2, is responsible for the earth’s demise is a political pressure point to install global governance designed to control every living organism. Pardon, to attempt to control life on the planet, which, if the UN, WEF and WHO had any hold on reality would understand that such vast ambitions aren’t possible, with or without the assistance of artificial intelligence.

In the race to “decarbonize” Earth

Basic chemistry taught (or used to teach, before education was subverted by wild-eyed Marxists) that photosynthesis is what recycles oxygen into the air by plant life breaking down CO2, giving fauna a breathable lifeline. Theories about climate change and greenhouse gases currently disseminated in the classroom aren’t provable nor been proven by scientific method. Hence they are called theories.

Organizations claiming to have discrete knowledge negating demonstrable science are petulantly coercing sovereign nations to accept fables in preference to obvious facts. Relying on emotionalism to make their nonexistent case, de-educated, indoctrinated and ignore-ant students of culture accept the narrative unchallenged.

In the race to “decarbonize” Earth, which is literally impossible, oil, gas, coal producers and power generation industries are demonized in media, collegiate forums and court cases.

Sweeping wildfires have been officially attributed to climate change or, should that all-encompassing category fail, power suppliers as in the recent suit where a jury found Pacificorp liable for Oregon’s 2020 blazes.

Whether or not the allegations are true (dependent on witness veracity), power companies and fossil fuel industries have become the go-to culprit for mishaps and disasters involving fire or power failures. Arsonists and bad actors other than deep pocket power corporations are rarely held accountable or sought for probable crimes. When arsonists are caught and charged with setting major fires--as in the California Wine Country fire some years back and the more recent incident of a college professor who set the Dixie blazes in California--the stories quietly disappear from public view.

Diminishing access to electricity

Accusing big oil, gas and coal for imputed impending environmental doom gives political power brokers a scenario to limit individuals’ independence by curtailing energy supply. Once regulators remove access to internal combustion engines, gas stoves or even efficient, affordable heat and air conditioning, free enterprise and travel is restricted.

Diminishing access to electricity by replacing continuous load power plants (coal/natural gas/nuclear) with intermediate load solar (30% daily operation) and wind (25% daily operation) that currently provides only four percent--that’s 4%--of overall power to the grid, forces the populace to forego mobility which inevitably slashes income by limiting economic opportunities.

Biden’s EPA is in the process of instituting regulations that would require 67% of vehicles to be electric-powered by 2032, that’s nine years away when EVs comprise only six percent (6%) today. The window to comment on this ludicrous regulation closes July 5, 2023.

Experts have made it clear that the power grid is nowhere near able to handle that number of electric vehicles which are not as efficient as gas-powered vehicles. EVs are unable to cover the mileage necessary to deliver goods--trucks carrying cargo have the range of travel cut by 25%--and charging takes hours, adding delivery delays for refrigerated and time-constrained product.

The objective behind forcing “renewables” on the populace is to deconstruct the liberty that founded this nation

Rising temperatures have prompted excessive heat warnings being issued for Texas that will overburden the power gird, endangering lives of those with health challenges. Governor Abbott has the authority to dismiss irresponsible EPA regulations that have shuttered power plants citing CO2 emissions, and reopen them to deal with weather emergencies such as an oppressive heat wave. He refused to do so when the ice storm hit in February 2021 causing billions of dollars in damage and numerous deaths. Now is his chance to flex the constitutional muscle he’s been provided and tell the feds to take a hike. The Ninth and Tenth Amendments supply the right for states to protect their citizens even from an overreaching federal regulatory agency. The Constitution is law, regulations are not.

The objective behind forcing “renewables” on the populace is to deconstruct the liberty that founded this nation and to which other nations aspire, to create a closed universe that terrified, enfeebled and impoverished residents (citizenship is no longer a requirement by borderless standards) can or are willing to traverse.

The statist-corporatist vision is one of tightly controlled existence for people who see themselves as victims dependent on the state for necessities of life which does not include luxuries. It’s the communist utopia of equity--shared misery of a joyless, Godless existence.
