Always remember, Congress is not spending government money, they are spending hard working taxpayers’ money and they are damn poor stewards of that money

Understanding Government Money

Understanding Government MoneyThere is a terrible misunderstanding by far too many Americans about the nature of “government money.” I am not sure if it is ignorance, stupidity, or people consciously ignoring reality because they don’t want to acknowledge the truth (maybe that’s stupidity too). People, people, people; there is no such thing as government money! Government money is money confiscated from American citizens in the form of taxes. The government gets every dollar they have from confiscation. The government has no mechanism to generate dollars. They can print money, but they don’t generate income.

Government money is money confiscated from American citizens in the form of taxes

The tax refund is money the government has confiscated and then returned to the individual taxpayer after having confiscated too much money from that taxpayer. Stimulus money is money the government confiscated from taxpayers and is paying out to everybody as a bribe in an effort to garner votes. Working taxpayers are having their money confiscated, and then a small portion is returned to them; the same amount is paid out to people who don’t work or pay taxes, even illegal aliens. This is one form of redistribution of wealth, even the wealth of people who are not wealthy. Social Security payments is money the government confiscated from working taxpayers and is paid back to those taxpayers slowly over time after certain requirements have been met by the taxpayers. It is also money the government pays out to people that in no way contributed to the Social Security system, even illegal aliens. This is another form of redistribution of wealth, even the wealth of people who are not wealthy.
"I think myself that we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious. Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have ... The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases. The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first." ~ Thomas Jefferson

Government grants are paid with money confiscated from taxpayers

Government grants are paid with money confiscated from taxpayers to fund an unknown number of agencies worldwide. Basically, the government is spending money confiscated from working American taxpayers to bribe others in America and foreign countries. This is yet another form of redistribution of wealth, even the wealth of people who are not wealthy. Welfare is another way the government uses the money confiscated from taxpayers, even though charity is not one of the enumerated powers granted to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution. This is just one more form of redistribution of wealth, even the wealth of people who are not wealthy.
"No generation has a right to contract debts greater than can be paid off during the course of its own existence." ~ Thomas Jefferson
