An upstate New York author allegedly pummeled a stranger inside a supermarket for sporting Donald Trump swag just a few days before Election Day, authorities said.

Robert Yott, 60, was arrested following an incident in which he repeatedly punched the victim in the mouth and head, causing multiple broken teeth and a bloody mouth.

The attack, which seemed to be a random act of violence, involved a victim Yott had never met before.
