USA Where ‘Now’ is

What is a puzzling situation is that Tim Geithner, Secretary of Treasury is being used as a Secretary of Commerce or State. I know that he speaks the language, but I still scratch my head. Tim Geithner's trip to China hadn't a chance of producing much of anything in purchasing appreciable amounts of products from the United States. The interest of Peking isn't in having a consuming population as we have, unless it is in areas that doesn't put them dependant on other nations more than what they already are. They are not in as enviable a situation as we are with energy. We have it but won't use our own and feel that it is better to export our dollars for oil, until there is an alternative source of energy. They have excess U.S. debt dollars and feel its better to use some of that debt to purchase and store oil, until they have an alternative to their vast amounts of coal. The President really has an even tighter cabinet than what shows at first glance. In reality his only purpose at present is to transfer the power that debt holds, back to our government, not to the governed. Every so called initiative seems to lead to the power over people.   It was not that long ago that a suggestion through OPEC came that the U.S. dollar be switched over for the acceptance of the EURO . Although that would have been bad, for the currency of record at that time, the world's most dominant currency, would have been subservient to the EURO and its fluctuating prices, as well as continued export of dollars for "OPEC OIL".   We still haven’t been able to expand our own production, nor attained the employment that goes with it. Shortly, additional TAX will be the subject of debate all with the idea in mind of subsidizing the next two paragraphs.   Health Care is another area that requires an immediate answer this year, according to the Administration, so much so that what is being proposed is nothing different than the same failures as are happening in the rest of the civilized world like Europe, including England and Canada.  All examples of increased cost, delays for health care with a few exceptions, and committees that balance Life decisions on a National check book and how much it balances against an individual's expected life span and their worth.  These areas of decision with the help of a one sided press, (disinterested in fairness for the individual), are not being fully disclosed to the American people, regardless of party affiliation or political expression.   Look at the Presidents' Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel's  brother, MD, Professor, Ethicist and consultant, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel who is currently working on the program.  Read his writings.  We need to be involved before a move is made. We need to know the positives, and the negatives. Cap and Trade in reality does nothing else but raise more tax money for governmental squander or in signing on to the Kyoto Treaty or some other U.N. sponsored idea. This only amounts to the same thing, and it will deprive us of ruling our own lives. All the while defeating ourselves by refusing to utilize our own natural resources and searching for alternatives, we continue sending our dollars overseas. Natural Gas, Atomic Power, Coal and Oil are attainable while building on reduction in need, alternative sources and undiscovered science. The only sinking to be done otherwise, will be a lowering of our country's economy and our standard of living. (Most of us)   Our legal system, although not perfect, changes over time, but has and will continue to be the best available.  Better ways are found to maintain our society, within our Constitution, and we change them.  Precedence set by other countries or judgments because of their views are not the basis of our judicial system.  We are not run by a panel of other countries, that rightfully have their own interest at heart. (or an insatiable interest at world domination). 
However, for Tim Geithner either to put, or even suggest consideration, we acquiesce our worthless currency to anyone else's worthless currency, or even a new worthless currency, is the large jump, not step, into a One World Government.

Most of that world is not free. Only the most successful countries regard human rights, relative unlimited opportunity, a better standard of living, and an ability to recognition along with the willingness to help those less fortunate, as a worth while commitment.

Our Congress, and President are working to limit the growth of this type of conservatism that which our country was built on.  Tim Geithner is of the same school as his immediate Boss, with one exception. He has more intellect. He is aware that by controlling funds, wages and the redistribution of wealth, in the short term gives a boost in power to control others. That it why he was selected for the job. That is why he is working on expanding the scope of Treasury's Control. In the long term greater control is achieved, by then we are not in as enviable a position to reverse the problems. But... The idea behind the books, "Brave New World" and "Animal Farm" is nothing more than a shorter versions of Karl Marx and his theories as put out in his manifesto. Lenin and Mao tried, along with Hitler, Stalin, Gorbachov and many others. Each has been a failure. Each has met with millions upon millions of their citizenry in governmental bondage and in the Graves of History, leaving those millions left, under tyrannical control and who can never obtain  more than a subsistence living. We must open our eyes, ears and our intellect, to both History and Fiction. Fiction, for those that refuse to learn from History, is meant to feel good. The analogy is the dilemma. We will be taxed many times the cost in our free market system, and the dollars will put us deeper in debt to the aristocracy of Government, of which we will have no control. As of this writing the President has appointed 21 Czars. These Czars are answerable to the President, through his purported “Executive Powers”. The powers were taken, with no Congressional approval oversight or Constitutional authority. It is the real beginning of the all powerful government even as it said “With Care and Concern for the People and the Children”. The experiment we began, codified almost 233 Years ago needs to be put on the "World's" mantle as a shining example of a well planted crop. Yes, continued stewardship has not been easy and as in any well cared fields, the  plots have had to be trimmed and the weeds pulled. Locusts have had to be fought, but the results of the work and struggles have been worth while and changes have been made. We have a society of “People” governed by self imposed “Laws”, not “Laws” that are imposed “On People”. 
We must continued the fight. Those before us did not quit for us and we can not quit for our posterity.
