In my far away realm, still here in ‘The House By The Sea’ due to circumstances well beyond our control, but still happy to be here, I find that no one is more prescient than savvy columnist Ray DiLorenzo.
‘War Is Upon You’, he wrote in yesterday’s column, hours before the surprise strike on Israelis began utterly dominating “The “News”.
“People living in modern civilization—especially in the West—play by the rules, live within their means, love their families, and cherish their children's future. We get up in the morning, go to our jobs, or to our tasks, not thinking about any threats that may be formulating to destroy our lives. And yet, the threats are there, and they persist.(Canada Free Press, Oct. 7, 2023.)
“For those of us who do our research and read what these enemies are plotting against us—and we do have enemies—we start to understand how dangerous they really are, these globalist elites. They have told us numerous times, both in print and in speech, what they are planning. And yet they are ignored when all we have to do is take them seriously and act accordingly.”
A headline and words that were—and are—a harbinger of what is happening in a now upside-down world, where the growing horror includes western governments who would seemingly kill their own people.
This is part of what world citizenry now faces. Horrors from which, no matter where we are, there is no longer any place to run to.
Our overwhelming ‘live-and-let-live’ mentality has ushered in a deadly tolerance for news presentation, the gist of which tolerates the killing of the people living in the midst of warring factions.
How is it even possible to tolerate people within our own society who glorify and celebrate the live streaming butchering of the civilian population no matter where it is happening around the world?

Surely it should go without saying that wanting to kill the leaders and militant followers of Hamas now going door to door killing innocent civilian Israelis is one thing, killing off innocent civilians another matter completely.
In days ahead, because of largely left-leaning Fake News reporting, it will be kill off Israeli government and defenders fighting off Hamas.
How was it even possible to forget that wanton killing—no matter the cause—is not only wrong but inherently EVIL.
Whether it is unwanted babies in mothers’ wombs or innocent unarmed civilians caught up in a deadly war, KILLING IS WRONG AND EVIL.
The horrific pictures we see coming out of Israel are not the only signs of growing hostilities and War in a world gone upside down.
Ray DiLorenzo’s chilling words ring true. “War is upon you”.
The blood of painful war is upon us all—no matter where we live.
God Help us!
