Was He Ready to Be President?

One of the best books I have read in regards to then candidate, now American President is The Audacity of Deceipt; Barack Obama's War on American Values by author, conservative activist, and former radio talk show host Brad O'Leary.

In the book O'Leary details many of Barack Obama's positions based on his past associations, written papers, speeches, interviews, and political debates. For anyone who has never read the book I strongly urge them to do so, especially those who either sat home during the last election cycle and did not vote or voted for the man and now are wondering why during his first two weeks in office many of the things he promised are being tossed out the window along with many highly regarded American traditions and values.

This continuing series is dedicated to O'Leary and the diligence he put forth in regards to the research of his book. It is also dedicated to President Barack Obama as well. I predict that by the end of his Presidency and perhaps before then, that he will, as a minister might say "be convicted by the folly of his own words and deeds." Perhaps not in a civil or criminal since but in a moral sense, he may or may not care, but there are many millions of americans who do.

In the spirit of not putting words in the President's mouth I figured it was best to allow the man to speak for himself and let readers, listeners and or viewers decide for themselves, exactly what Barack Obama meant when he made the many comments that will follow in this weekly series.

In this video listen to what then Senator Barack Obama said in reference to running for President and whether he was ready to assume the position as American President and "knowing what you are doing."
