It’s the foundation on which America was built and it must be unearthed again if America is to remain the beacon of liberty for the free world. Yes, there’s one single answer and it’s needed NOW

“WE” … the Only Pronoun that Truly Matters!

“WE” … the Only Pronoun that Truly Matters!A simple two-letter pronoun kicked off the preamble to America’s Constitution … WE! “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union …” And, yes, a more perfect Union was formed that has lasted nearly 250-years, with some years along the way being less perfect than others. Nonetheless, America became the savior of freedom and the cornerstone of the free world precisely because of that two-letter pronoun … WE! After WE, all other pronouns are inconsequential, bordering on meaningless, by comparison. Yet, in 2022, one pronoun has all but disappeared from everyday use in America … WE!

Every other pronoun imaginable is being foisted on American citizens by today’s self-appointed pronoun police

That’s a problem. Every other pronoun imaginable is being foisted on American citizens by today’s self-appointed pronoun police. To fit in, each person is expected to assess all the pronoun options — absent we — pick which ones they like for themselves, and demand that those be used by everyone else. Why? Because some individuals might be offended if you use the wrong pronoun when speaking to them. And, yes, to anyone with even a smidgen of common sense, it’s mindless. Nonetheless, it’s now infiltrating U.S. corporate culture and America’s military service branches. Nowhere is immune. With the stupidity of defunding law enforcement, the pronoun police are actually the only ones that require defunding … and debunking. They are disciples of Marx and Mao, focused on one goal: divide and conquer by tearing the country apart.

The murky origin of the pronoun police can be traced to America’s college campuses

Appallingly, they are succeeding. And, as already indicated, they’re doing so by destroying America’s most valuable possession … WE! The murky origin of the pronoun police can be traced to America’s college campuses. Socialist primordial ooze runs deep there. Universities employ more Marxists and Maoists per capita than any other employer nationwide which makes them ground zero for anti-Americanism. As might be expected, campuses are where the most business cards are produced that include an individuals preferred pronouns. They are often in parentheses under the person’s name (e.g., she/her/hers; he/him/his; they/them/theirs). NEVER have I seen (we/us/ours) among the choices; it’s taboo in the shadow of the ivory tower and everywhere else for that matter. Having spent over a half century inside academe’s once hallowed halls, I had a front row seat from which to observe the national degradation of higher education where the pronoun rubbish originated. It’s just the latest iteration of the old politically correct crusade. Fifty years ago, the antiwar and civil rights movements were ongoing with the focal point on college campuses. Affirmative action was launched with the noble goal of finally attaining the equality called for in America’s founding document, the Declaration of Independence. “We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal …” Yep, there is was again … WE!

"We must live together as brothers or perish together as fools"

With civil rights and affirmative action, Martin Luther King, Jr. was an eloquent spokesman for the goals and what was required to reach them. Plus, he understood the All Mighty power of a fellowship pronoun … WE! “We must live together as brothers or perish together as fools”. The year after Dr. King’s death, 1969, I went to Vietnam, served in combat, was wounded, discharged, and returned to college to finish the last year of my undergraduate degree. Not a scenario I chose intentionally. Looking back though, I actually consider being drafted and enduring combat firsthand as positive experiences. And that’s not just because of the piece of metal barely missing my heart, although that was helpful too. The greatest upside was learning the power of a simple pronoun … WE! Selfless service in war is real, as is the colorblind brotherhood in war. It proved to me, unequivocally, that “we must live together as brothers or perish together as fools.” And, yes, survival in combat is absolutely dependent on that two-letter savior … WE! A half century later, I feel sorry for those who have not been lucky enough to experience selfless service in combat. It illuminates the very best within — brothers willing to die for brothers around them — and a focus, 100%, on an unpretentious solidarity pronoun … WE! It’s the foundation on which America was built and it must be unearthed again if America is to remain the beacon of liberty for the free world. Yes, there’s one single answer and it’s needed NOW. “WE” … the only pronoun that truly matters!
