Canada Free Press columnist Dr. Klaus Kaiser, who chronicles the outstanding cowardice of the mainstream-media dubbed “Jihadi John” You Tube masked beheader of James Foley a fortnight ago and Steven Sotloff yesterday, frames him in the photograph from which he will never escape: a coward who counts on a mask to hide him in obscurity.

“In case you are wondering, you are not alone. How come the fearsome jihadi fighters, shown on videos going about their business of beheadings and other deeds, are all wearing veils, looking like niqabs? Why are they hiding their faces behind such garments? Are they all like the women who are supposed to wear such things?”, Kaiser asks in today’s column. In other words Jihadist John is a man hiding behind womens’ clothing. “According to Wikipedia, these balaclava-like veils are “worn by some Muslim women in public areas and in front of non-mahram adult males” and “it is claimed that under Islam the niqab is a requirement for all women.” The description can now also include that “fearsome warrior” Jihadi John. Riding full bore to worldwide YouTube infamy on the Internet, ‘Jihadi John’ got his absurd nickname from a group of released hostages who claim he is the leader of a terrorist cell called ‘The Beatles’ with other members of the cell known as “George” and “Ringo”. Given his proclivity for a mask akin to the veil, better to call him him ‘Lady Madonna’.

At least he didn’t rush off to play another round of golf as he did after making statements about Foley’s death. It is far more likely that the Sotloff family, like other American families, don’t want a public obit stating that the country grieves with them, but a leader with the backbone to stop the carnage of ISIS and other terrorist groups slaughtering innocents. Hiding-behind-niqab’, ISIS terrorists like the cowardly ‘Jihadist John’ made American journalists Foley and Sotloff worldwide propaganda, while millions of their other victims die terrible deaths outside the glare of publicity and propaganda in ISIS “horrific act(s) of violence all but ignored by politicians and media. In those not so long ago days when suspected terrorists were being ‘water-boarded’ it was hard to tell who whined louder, the terrorists or the loopy left who constantly defend them, no matter how horrific their slaughter. Squeamish Obama has banned the practice, but former president George W. Bush and former vice president Richard B. Cheney have defended its use after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Sotloff’s gruesome decapitation at the hands of the proverbial footloose and fancy free ISIS terrorists is the second one sent viral on the Internet. Meanwhile, no one is waiting with bated breath to hear Obama’s “today our country grieves with them” platitudes. Most want to hear the words guaranteed to put the cowardly jihadists on the run: “We’re coming to get you.”
