There is a lot of talk about what a Donald Trump presidency could mean for America and Mexico, but one question that is not addressed as heavily is how it is going to affect America's other neighbor, Canada. Trump had talked about building a wall along the Canadian border, and while that statement has gone on to become a Twitter joke, the truth is that there is a very real threat of terrorists crossing on either end. There have been terrorist cells not only wanting to enter America from Canada, but also to Canada from America. With that truth known, Donald Trump building a wall would not be as absurd as some claim. That said, the Canadian wall is most likely not going to happen.

Trump awakening to the scam of man-made global climate change

Trump awakening to the scam of man-made global climate change which has been so heavily disproven that even the founder of the "Weather Channel" calls it a lie could be a win for Canada. If Trump brings the cost of doing energy business with America down by disengaging from so many of the over burdensome restrictions, that the global warming crowd has yoked the world with, this could be quite a boon for Canada. The global warming lie has not only cost a fortune via the United Nations, gas taxes, and similar pricey measures, but it has also led to the warming crowd to try and solve the nonexistent problem with things like nuclear power plants. The dreadful problem is that these monstrosities poison the world even when they run properly. They are more deadly to Canada than any global warming threat, even if it were real. Canada could see some pain, in that Trump wants to pull out of NAFTA which is crippling America. The trouble for Canada could arise, however, when it is noted that Canada sends a full ¾ of all its exports to America. Trump may be working to make America strong once again, but Canada is going to have to be sure that export related nuances are handled by the best minds in Canada for this to not be a problem. This should not be hard since Canada is a strong nation that does not need to rely on other nations trade deals to flourish. Canada is not North Korea, after all. Some of the most remarkable news for Canadians comes in the form of the Keystone Pipeline, which Trump favors. He has even gone so far as to say that TransCanada should re apply, which is nothing short of sweet music to embattled Prime Minister Trudeau, who came out wisely for the pipeline prior. Canadian energy needs have become too high, costs too massive, and service too unreliable for this opportunity to be allowed to pass by. Trump could prove a huge win for Canada in this regard, even though he is asking for part of the profits for America. Trump is in favor of nations being allowed to use their resources in ways that help the nations that have these resources, and that very much includes Canada.

Radicalized Islam has sworn war against things such as women's rights and equality

Trump may finally awaken a bit of wisdom in Canada via his views on the Syrian refugee crisis, as well. Prime Minister Trudeau has gone out of his way to welcome Syrian refugees, all but bending over backwards on a high wire to do so. However, while Canada does a better job in the vetting process than most nations in the world, it may not be such a bad idea to monitor a bit more closely how many refugees actually, arrive. This is because the system can only afford to take on so much of a burden and after that, the things that make Canada "Canada" could be lost along with its social safety net. It is very likely that Trump will not feel at ease with so many Syrian refugees just to his north, which could hearken back to the aforementioned wall. While on the topic of Islam, most of the non-radical side of the religion are at least open to hearing the truths that Trump speaks in terms of monitoring terror. All nations are susceptible to the hand of ISIS because ISIS has shown its hand to the world. Radicalized Islam has sworn war against things such as women's rights and equality, and it is this, that draws many Muslims to agree with Donald Trump on such matters. If a Muslim has left a land of sharia violence, he is more prone to see things as Trump does regarding Muslims. One of the things that Donald Trump has said is that the Canadian healthcare system is a "catastrophe". He claimed that many in Canada, when sick, tend to come to the United States of America for treatment. While this claim did much to ruffle the feathers of Ottawa, the truth is that Trump was correct in that 45,000 Canadians went to America for medical treatment in 2015. It is rumored that if travel costs were not a factor for so many who are ill, a far greater number than that may have gone south, too. It will certainly prove quite interesting to see what solutions Donald Trump comes up with. That said, most of what he does with the American healthcare system is of little matter to the average Canadian.

Fear and dread from the media is based on half facts, constant liberal need to slander anyone found to have a more right mindset

At the end of the day, Donald Trump is a business man who loves his nation very much. As such, it is unlikely that he will do anything too severe considering that fact that a staggering $450 BILLION dollars goes to America as Canada's biggest market for both market goods as well as services. It would be unthinkable that he would be a good businessman and ruin trade worth that much money. Trump has stated that he wishes to get along with nations that get along with the United States. This is good considering that America has historically had few friends as loyal as Canada, and Trump knows this. Most of the fear and dread coming from the media is based on half facts or just the constant liberal need to slander anyone found to have a more right mindset, which Trump clearly does. When all the smoke has cleared, the fact is that Donald Trump as president of the United States of America will be one of the best things to happen to Canada's energy segment in quite some time. Considering the cost of heating in Canada, this can only be a blessing. As for the rest of the problems, Canada will certainly find things in the coming years far more trying and hard to deal with than Donald Trump.
