When it comes to saving those stranded on a mountaintop, Obama is ODC (Obama Doesn’t Care)

The world has changed dramatically since Senator Barack Hussein Obama took office in 2009 and turned it upside down. That change was the only thing real in what was to be Obama’s hedonistic Hollywood world. The hope promised in the millions of posters circulated worldwide died an undignified death the day they tore down the DNC’s phony Greek columns at the Denver Pepsi Center never to return.
Nowhere is the death of Obama hope more blatantly obvious than at the top of Sinjar Mountain, in Iraq, where 40,000 Yazidis, 25,000 of whom are children are left stranded, having been driven there by Caliphate-seeking terrorists in the Islamic State (IS) formerly known as ISIS. On his way out the door to to a two week Martha’s Vineyard holiday tomorrow, Obama gave minimal attention to all those on the mountaintop dying from lack of food and water, which adds up to nothing more than taking advantage of an opportunity for an 11th-hour televised address. “President Obama announced Thursday night in a televised address that he has authorized the U.S. military to conduct airstrikes "if necessary" against Islamist militants in Iraq, and the military has conducted a mission to drop humanitarian aid there to help religious minorities stranded amid the violence.” (Fox News, Aug. 7, 2014.) Airstrikes “if necessary” is based more on rhetoric than action while food and water are necessary for human survival.

Cargo aircraft had already made a drop to the Yazidis, many of whom have died or are dying where they huddle on Sinjar Mountain. “Both C-130 and C-17 cargo aircraft participated in the drop, escorted by F-18 fighters. All aircraft have since safely left the immediate airspace over the drop area.” (Fox News) With Obama admitting outright there was no U.S. military solution to the crisis, the drop off of supplies could be dubbed: ‘Operation In and Out’. "Earlier this week, one Iraqi in the area cried to the world, `There is no one coming to help.' Well, today, America is coming to help," Obama said. "We're also consulting with other countries -- and the United Nations -- who have called for action to address this humanitarian crisis." (Fox News) Kurdish forces protecting Iraq’s north, holding out hope that they’ll be able to get food and water to the 40,000 desperate Yazidis, must have been discouraged with Obama’s weak doublespeak, especially in knowing at heart the “other countries” includes mostly them. “Obama acknowledged that the prospect of a new round of U.S. military action would be a cause for concern among many Americans. He vowed anew not to put American combat troops back on the ground in Iraq and said there was no U.S. military solution to the crisis. "As commander in chief, I will not allow the United States to be dragged into fighting another war in Iraq," Obama said. (Fox News) Strong words until you stop to consider that Obama and the United Nations do their talking from the same mealy mouth, mealy mouthed for both meaning all talk no action. This has been the UN’s ‘action on the stranded Yazidis to date: Marzio Babille, the Iraq representative for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said that “U.N. agencies have offered the Iraqi government technical assistance with airdrops but have yet to be asked for help. At least 15 to 20 flights would be needed just to provide those stranded with enough water and supplies to survive for a week, he said.” (Washington Post, Aug. 6, 2014) Does the UN need a buff-coloured invitation from the Iraqi government to help, Mr. Babille? What’s at least 15 to 20 flights just to provide the stranded with enough life-sustaining water and supplies to survive for one week to a rich and secure United Nations which spent billions for headquarter renovations? “Iraqi Kurdish security forces known as pesh merga are attempting to secure a road from the mountain to the nearby city of Rabia, but the process involves clearing villages where locals are sympathetic to the militants, said Majid Shingali, a local parliamentarian, who left Sinjar on Saturday.” (Washington Post) To date Iraqi Kurdish security forces are the only ones doing anything besides talking. Meanwhile, there’s plenty of food and water where the elitist Obama family is going. Of the myriad of descriptions for Obama under the regime that spreads more Marxist misery than any other, we can now add this one: ODCAA (Obama Doesn’t Care About Anyone).
