Jesse Jackson accused of sexual harassment

When you grope, you are a dope

Liberal shakedown artist Jesse Jackson is being accused of groping a female journalist Liberal shakedown artist Jesse Jackson is being accused of groping a female journalist. The claim against the purported civil rights leader comes amidst a wave of sexual harassment and sexual abuse allegations that have been leveled in recent weeks against top Hollywood figures including Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, and Charlie Sheen. Jackson’s accuser is Danielle Young, a writer and producer with The Root, Jessica Chasmar reports at the Washington Times.
Jackson’s accuser is Danielle Young, a writer and producer with The Root, Jessica Chasmar reports at the Washington Times. Young outlined the claim in an essay for The Root website, titled, “Don’t Let the Smile Fool You. I’m Cringing on the Inside.” After Jackson delivered a “riveting and inspiring speech,” she was part of a group of admirers who approached him, Young writes. “One by one, we stepped up, shared a few words and thank-yous with Jackson, snapped photos and went back to our desks. Simple enough, right?” Young writes. “I walked toward Jackson smiling, and he smiled back at me. His eyes scanned my entire body. All of a sudden, I felt naked in my sweater and jeans. As I walked within arm’s reach of him, Jackson reached out a hand and grabbed my thigh, saying, ‘I like all of that right there!’ and gave my thigh a tight squeeze.” Young provided a photo of herself in an embrace with Jackson, which graces the top of this article. “I personally never wanted to say anything because my situation was just a thigh grab. Barely a blip on anyone’s radar, even my own,” she writes. “My silence gave Jackson permission to continue grabbing at the next pair of thick thighs he liked. I’m hoping that my voice does the opposite.” A Jackson spokesman said the reverend doesn’t recall the meeting three years ago but “profoundly and sincerely regrets any pain Ms. Young may have experienced.” This is probably as close to a confession as anyone will ever get from Jackson.
