Who is Taking Our Country Back

Sam Donaldson appeared with Chris Matthew recently and proclaimed that he disliked the phrase "Taking Our Country Back" and followed that by telling the Tea Partiers that it isn't their country.

"It is our country now" claimed Donaldson. Exactly who is the "we" of which Donaldson speaks? It must be the government can solve all, anti-business, pro-gun control, Occupy Wall Street group. It certainly isn't the country we have had for 200 plus years. We are not a country of dreamers and doers. We are a country of demanders and takers. We are not a country of politicians who serve and then return to civilian life. Instead we are a country lead by career politicians. We are no longer a country where a man takes care of his family. We are a country of absentee fathers and government child support. We are not a country full of pride in all things American. We are a country whose leader despises Christianity, entrepreneurs, business, the flag, patriotism, and middle American. The question is -- will Mr. Donaldson prove to be right in the long run? If he is, then the American dream has died at the hands of the liberal media and the coddled American electorate. If he is not -- it will be because a group of strong, committed, patriotic people took their country back against tremendous odds. Ask yourself, "Am I one of those people?"
