The United States or more accurately, the Democrat Party, has been picking a fight with Russia for years. And now, we seem to be picking a fight with China as well. Why?
When Trump was president, Russia was put on the shelf. Putin and Trump seemed to get along, at least they respected one another and knew the cost of adventurism. All was quiet.

With China, Trump made no secret that he wanted an 'open and constructive' relationship with China, but Trump was going to protect our national interests. Xi found Trump to be unpredictable, a definite advantage in the chess of international politics or the 'art of the deal'...something Democrats knew nothing about. China knew they had a worthy opponent and was going to step lightly.
What used to be an advantage in our Constitutional Republic, a free society, is the ability to change direction almost immediately. It worked for much of our history when both political sides had the best interests of the country at heart. No longer.
Change direction we did. Biden (Obama) took us from a strong growing economy, energy independence, cheap gas & diesel, a growing manufacturing sector, a rebuilt military, a real border, a stable international sphere, to the exact opposite...with an economy on the verge of collapse, weak and dependent. Please spare me the pandemic speech. If anyone, by now, is still thinking COVID-19 was a natural event, you have not been paying attention. How did it happen so quickly?
After Trump, Russia and China were once again busy gathering for themselves the spoils of 'toxic masculinity,' while the Democrats were absorbed in trying to define what a woman is, teaching children about changing genders, and feminizing men. What Democrats refuse to understand is...the world is merciless toward weakness.

Progressivism and Liberalism are not the same although in modern usage they are close cousins, terms often used interchangeably. You might say Progressivism is Liberalism on steroids. Bernie Sanders makes a point of saying he is not a liberal, he is a progressive. Liberalism began hundreds of years ago. You could even say our founders were liberal for the time. Traditional liberals believe in freedom, the rights of the individual, and capitalism. Progressives believe in socialism, the rights of the group (or some groups), are anti-capitalist, and anti-religion (except for their own political religion).
A Liberal may disapprove of what you say, but agree that you have the right to say it. A Progressive would not only disapprove of what you say, but have you censored, shamed and fired from your job.
The heart of freedom is tolerance, which Progressives profess, but will have none of it unless it agrees with their ideology.

The modern progressive movement began in the late 19th century as an effort to cure the ills of industrialization. To them Communism was the cure, or so they thought. In the late 50s, into the 60s they worked with Liberals on racism and the Democratic Party's affinity for segregation. They began to split when Progressives decided that America was beyond redemption and needed a civil war to completely overthrow the government and our Constitution. They decided instead to transform the nation from within. Sounds like Obama, doesn't it?

In 2018, about 70% of Progressive Democrats were ashamed of America. In February, 2019, Public Opinion Strategies found that 77% of Democrats who planned on voting in 2020 self-identified as socialists. Less than a quarter of Democrats are extremely proud of their country. Ask Michelle Obama.
With the help of the media and our education system, the Democrat Party has been successful in replacing patriotism with socialism.
Among its goals, the Democrat Party is committed to making citizenship meaningless. With an open border, the pouring in of millions of unvetted, mostly illiterate aliens, citizenship becomes cheap, almost pointless. They are pushing world citizenship. Do you think the Democrats care about the thousands of aliens that have died making the trip, or the thousands who have been raped, robbed and abused?
For socialism to take hold, one must create an oppressor and oppressed class, identity politics. Used successfully during the Russian Revolution, it pits one group against another. Do you notice how critics of the open border are shouted down as racists or xenophobes? Once the open border is accepted as a fact of life, it can then be normalized here and abroad.
Why we are picking fights with nuclear powers, especially at a time of weakness in leadership from the top, right down to our military joint chiefs?
All that being said, why is the current party in power seeming to be doing everything opposite of what one would expect? Pelosi shows strength toward China while Biden shows weakness. The Biden regime destroys our energy independence and then blames Putin for the price of gas. Dozens of food plants mysteriously catch fire or explode, creating high food prices and shortages, but it's Russia's fault. Democrats advance the defunding of police and are shocked that crime is at an all-time high... and then refuse to prosecute anyone. Trillions of dollars they didn't have are printed and spent and they tell us the inflation is transitory. The government pushes EV cars almost no one can afford. They are squeezing the middle class into restricting our travel, keeping us in sight.
The only truth I have seen in Biden's many pronouncements is that we are in a transition. We are! We are transitioning from a free Constitutional Republic to a Communist/Fascist totalitarian police state, but they decided not to tell you.
Which brings me to the question of why we are picking fights with nuclear powers, especially at a time of weakness in leadership from the top, right down to our military joint chiefs? There isn't a Patton or Nimitz among them.
Because they want war!

War will destroy our country, and Russia (no friend of globalism) and leave China mostly intact (pretend 'friend' of globalism). It will kill millions of people, the goal of the eugenic globalists. It will transform our country and the world into a modern feudal police state. If accomplished in time, it may even cancel the midterm elections, certainly the 2024 elections.
Why would any politician, Democrat or Republican, support such a scheme? Because The Great Reset is backed by powerful international entities, the UN, the WEF, IMF, WHO, Gates, Soros, Prince Charles, major banks (B of A, Bank of Canada, Master Card), multi-nationals, and maybe a hundred countries that have been paid off. The entire movement is demonic. The entire movement is demonic. They're planning two classes of people, The Common Folk and the Sovereign. The Common Folk will have their personal property confiscated, but the Sovereign (elites) will keep theirs. The politicians are scrambling for a good seat. Goodbye middle class. Goodbye citizen sovereignty.
There will be much disbelief, skepticism, and incredulity to what I am saying. Why? Because there is nothing in our history or experience that says this is possible in America. To 99% of Americans the Civil War, where we lost the 2022 equivalent of 35 million people, is nothing but a paragraph in a book no one reads.
Who picks fights with multiple adversaries while diminishing our military capability to achieve victory? No one, unless it's part of the plan.
