When people can live comfortably enough off government handouts, they lose any incentive to provide for themselves.  They become a parasite on society

Why Am I Paying For This?

Why Am I Paying For This?
"Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government." ~ James Madison
In case you missed it, charity is not an enumerated power in the United States Constitution for the federal government.  Although I haven’t personally checked, I seriously doubt that charity is enumerated in any state constitution as a government function. The first government sponsored charity began when the Marxist government of Franklin D. Roosevelt implemented the Social Security Tax originally known as Old Age, Survivor, and Disability Insurance (OASDI).  Originally the ultimate beneficiary and their employer paid into this fund, so it was a paid for benefit.  Medicare, like Social Security, is a program where employees prepay for some of their old age medical care.

Government “charity” is a tool to control people by controlling their subsistence

Social Security became a charity when the Marxist Democrats passed legislation to pay benefits to people other than those that contributed to the fund.  Similarly, the government developed Medicaid as a charitable version of Medicare except age has nothing to do with it.  After that, an avalanche of government, taxpayer-funded, charitable programs have developed.  In addition, the federal government is now providing American taxpayer funding to non-government “charitable” organizations world-wide.  Why?  Charity was never envisioned by the founding generation to be a government function.
"In the general course of human nature, a power over a man's subsistence amounts to a power over his will." ~ Alexander Hamilton

Charity, true charity, is a function of each individual helping the less fortunate as they see fit.  Government charity is not really charity at all.  Government “charity” is a tool to control people by controlling their subsistence.  Basically, government charity is about buying votes.  The Marxist Democrat Party and their minions have overplayed their hand with the Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer government.  Even historic Democrat voters are fleeing in droves to the Republican Party.  No amount of charity is going to save the Marxists in November 2022. There are a couple of “charitable” programs the federal government has been funding that I find particularly egregious. Planned Parenthood and any other program funding abortions should never have been funded by taxpayers.  If two people make the choice to engage in the sex act, it is their right to make that decision.  I, as a taxpayer, was not a party in that decision.  If the result of that liaison is that the woman gets pregnant, so be it. The two individuals have created a situation of their own making.  I, as a taxpayer, still have no involvement.  If the woman or the couple decide to abort the child they made, that is between them and possibly their doctor.  I, as a taxpayer, am still not consulted nor should I be.  The woman and her sex partner are responsible for the situation, and they alone should be responsible enough to resolve THEIR PROBLEM without my money, as a taxpayer.  If they have the abortive service done at Planned Parenthood or some other federal tax supported facility, I am paying for their fun time in the sack, which they determined was a mistake.  That is not right!  I was never involved until it became time to pay.

Why are the morons in the federal government paying for non-essential charitable programs when they don’t have the money to properly fund essential enumerated programs?

The same principle applies to federally-funded programs for HIV or the newest sexually disease on the block, Monkey Pox.  Non-participating taxpayers should not be paying the bills for someone else’s irresponsible and careless sex act.  People need to dig into their own wallet, not my wallet, unless I voluntarily choose to open it. That is real charity. Why are the morons in the federal government paying for non-essential charitable programs when they don’t have the money to properly fund essential enumerated programs?  Why are the morons in the Marxist federal government providing foreign aid (charity) to enemies of the United States, when they can’t fund essential programs within our own borders?  Why have the Beltway sewer dwellers been running the national debt past 30 trillion dollars, a bill our great grandchildren will have to pay?  You know why; We the People have failed to hold the elected career politicians accountable.  No accountability means they can print money and try to fool us into believing everything is okay. We now know things are not okay.  We cannot afford government charity and we cannot afford to continue down the path America and the world is on.  Every time we pass a gas station or go to the grocery store a red flag is waving.  We must hold the Marxist Democrats accountable for doing to our nation what they have done since they overthrew the government of President Donald Trump. Joe Biden and his Marxist minions have destroyed the strongest economy in American history in only 18 months.  Boss Biden and his Marxists oligarch minion did that, and plan to do more.

We must hold Marxist Democrats in America accountable

We must hold Marxist Democrats in every elected position in America accountable on November 8, 2022.  Pull the flush handle on the Pelosi-Schumer cabal now in control of Congress.  Return common sense and fiscal responsibility to the legislatures in every state.  Restore the rule of law in every jurisdiction in America.  Restore Judeo-Christian values as the primary guiding principles for governments nationwide.  Get the government out of the charity business. In state and federal parks all over America, signs say "Don't Feed the Animals". Why?  Because when animals get used to easy meals they lose the ability to fend for themselves. Government charity programs have exactly the same effect on human beings.  When people can live comfortably enough off government handouts, they lose any incentive to provide for themselves.  They become a parasite on society.  This, in my mind,  violates the 8th Amendment to the Constitution by inflicting cruel and unusual punishment on hard working American taxpayers.
