Will America awake from Comfortably Numb?

Will America awake from Comfortably Numb?Hello? Is there anybody in there?  Just nod if you can hear me Is there anyone at home?... Okay, just a little pinprick There'll be no more But you may feel a little sick Can you stand up? I do believe it's working, good That'll keep you going through the show Come on, it's time to go… When I was a child, I caught a fleeting glimpse Out of the corner of my eye I turned to look, but it was gone I cannot put my finger on it now The child is grown, the dream is gone And I have become comfortably numb (Excerpts from Pink Floyd, Comfortably Numb, Live in Pompeii 2016, YouTube, 118,441,965 views)

Will they awaken from the spreading infection of the Woke Virus

Have many, perhaps most, Americans become comfortably numb? Will they awaken from the spreading infection of the Woke Virus that's changing E pluribus, unum into E pluribus, chao? The 20th Century was one of unparalled carnage and tragedy, driven by acts of tyranny outside America's borders.  Our fathers, those of us older Americans, and grandfathers, who made it home from war, returned to a nation changed by wars' ordeals, themselves changed. America, by mid-century, wasn't done with war. Korea was next.   After Korea, war stopped making sense.   Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.  Iraq – twice.  And, in this century, Afghanistan.   The cadence called for each subsequent march to The Front became less clearly defined after Korea.   And, because the Federal Government invariable grew larger with wars, Washington consumed more and more of the nation's wealth, most of it borrowed from future generations yet unborn.

The Democratic Party and the Biden Administration, is the apex of the full-blown assault to fundamentally transform America

Since the American Civil War, the Federal Government has expanded on an ever upward trajectory. The years 1861-1865 led to the origin of a central state authority in America.  Since then, Washington, D.C. has expanded like a canine appetite with taxation being the Mirtazapine stimulant.   War, packaged as a cascade of assaults on tyranny, brought Washington, D.C., to a place becoming more tyrannical in its own right.  Ironically, it is named after a General: who made war against a tyrannical government across the Atlantic Ocean; who stayed in the field with his army for eight years without visiting home; who led militia volunteers and approximately 8,000 regular Continental Army Soldiers who, those able to survive, stayed the course with him, even in Valley Forge.  Technological advances since the end of the Second World War have not reduced the spread of tyranny.  In fact, technology has made ideological tyranny easier to spread in America, while some ring alarm-bells warning that those foreign enemies, against whom America once struggled in the first half of the 20th Century, are now domestic enemies, advancing on the nation from within.    The Democratic Party and the Biden Administration, is the apex of the full-blown assault to fundamentally transform America that began during the first term of Barack Obama.  The assault has not subsided since.  This is not Biden's assault. He's merely the malleable face-man for the thrust. Growing weaker by the month.  When he becomes undeniably unable to fulfill his first term of the office, President Harris will replace him. Equally as malleable. Perhaps even more so.  Harris will appoint a seasoned Democrat politician, with the all-important gravitas, (e.g., John Kerry, meaning he would have to give up his $5 million job at Bank of America) to be Vice President. And the post-modern neo-Marxist march to fundamentally transform America will continue.

Massive Fines Tucked Into Spending Bill Are Worse Than Biden's Upcoming Vaccine Mandate

Here's just one proposed step in the cadence-call of that march.  Find it in this headline: "Reconciling Medical Tyranny: Massive Fines Tucked Into Spending Bill Are Worse Than Biden's Upcoming Vaccine Mandate." "We've heard many complaints from Republicans on Capitol Hill about the opening volley of the Green New Deal, also known as the $3.5 trillion spending bill. But one that is conspicuously missing from the feckless GOP's rants is the fact that tucked into the bill are requirements for tremendous fines that could cripple businesses if they don't comply…. STORY AT-A-GLANCE
  • Buried in the massive $3.5 trillion "reconciliation" bill are unconstitutional fines for employers who don't mandate COVID-19 jabs or regular COVID-19 testing of their employees
  • Fines on employers could run as high as $70,000 for serious infractions and $700,000 for each "willful" or repeated violation
  • The unconstitutional fines as a mechanism for vaccine enforcement would bankrupt all but the largest businesses
  • Calling the vaccine mandate for businesses "tyrannical," the No Taxation Without Congressional Consent Act, introduced September 30, 2021, would prohibit the federal government from imposing a fine, fee or tax on individuals or businesses for violating a COVID-19 vaccine mandate"
It gets worse. Among those in Congress who remain comfortably numb are most of the Republican pols.    But, while the liberal media reports that people in the sports' stands are shouting "Let's Go Brandon," some of us know what they're really saying, and we concur.  Notes: 1. The Pink Floyd lyrics describe a state of loss. The protagonist is anaesthetized before going on stage.  2. The Moultrie flag (AKA: Fort Moultrie flag, Liberty flag, or Crescent flag) flew in defense of Fort Sullivan on Sullivan's Island in Charleston Harbor against the British in June 1776, by Colonel William Moultrie. It was the first American flag flown in the South during the Revolution.
