Burn the platforms of both the terrorists and the cowardly politicians who refuse to name them--and do it ASAP

You choose: Words in the air or boots on the ground

It’s not the cheering audience, including children who cheered the torching death of Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh on big screen in de facto ISIS capital Raqqa headquarters, that’s the worst problem; it’s the politicians and mainstream media, whose futile angry words rush in to immediately fill the vacuum after the slaughter of each and every ISIS victim.
“A sickening video has emerged showing Islamic State supporters gathering to watch Moaz al-Kasasbeh being burnt alive on big screen in the centre of the terror group's de facto capital Raqqa. The crowd can be seen cheering and shouting religious slogans as the airman goes up in flames, before members of the crowd - including children are asked for their views on the atrocity. (Daily Mail, Feb. 4, 2014) Words will not stop Islamist terrorism on the rampage, only action will. Let the real Boots-on-the-Ground strategy against ISIS be the one that burns down all their platforms. Take away ‘Jihadi John’s’ hideous image as the world’s latest Oliver Stone-like Hollywood film director. Jihadi John -- a media invention -- is a depraved monster who hides his face behind a mask. Throw both his name and his mask into what should inevitably become a raging worldwide bonfire.

Islamic terrorism is not a religion, it’s a death cult

Even before the smoke of the bonfire bursts into its first flames, call all ‘Jihadii Johns’ what they are: Islamic terrorists. Identify all their acts for what they are: Islamic terrorism. Whether cunning or weakling, force all politicians who refer to the terrorists by any name other than what they are out of office by any legal means. Direct all anger full bore and incessant at politicians like Barack Hussein Obama and others, any time they try to call terrorists anything else but terrorists. Burning down the platforms of Islamic terrorists means cutting them off from social media like Twitter and Facebook. “Thousands of ISIS supporters took to Twitter in the days after Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh was captured to suggest sick methods of execution - including the techniques that resulted in his death.” (Daily Mail) Cut them off before they make it to the proverbial pass. Force Twitter and Facebook to cut off all access to ISIS and all other recruiting Islamic terrorists. If they refuse to cut off access to terrorists, find the way to force Twitter and Facebook offline. Embarrass all media outlets who run stories such as... “even Al-Qaeda condemn murder of Jordanian pilot as ‘deviant’. Deviant? That’s what all civilized people call the Al-Qaeda strike on September 11, 2001. Other than in name Al-Qaeda is no different than ISIS. Correct media with millions of comments in their comment sections when they run cutline descriptions: “The crowd can be seen cheering and shouting religious slogans as the airman goes up in flames, before members of the crowd are asked for their views on the atrocity”. Islamic terrorism is not a religion, it’s a death cult. Tell all media outlets to stop romanticizing terrorists and their acts, like they did when they wrote about ‘White Widow’ (widow of 7/7 bomber Germaine Lindsay.), Samantha Lewthwaite, racing off into a snake-infested desert on her trusty horse. If they continue to romanticize terrorists and terrorism, inundate their advertisers with written complaints. If that doesn’t work, organize groups to cancel newspaper subscriptions en masse, and drop online bookmarks to their websites. Aim your inchoate anger in the direction where it will accomplish the most good. Make the lives of the victims of Islamic terrorism matter. Force the politicians out of their comfy fox dens. Walking arm in arm in “I am Charlie” group selfies achieves the same goal the terrorists seek, the full attention of the public spotlight. Burn the platforms of both the terrorists and the cowardly politicians who refuse to name them--and do it ASAP.
