Holocaust-denying Professor Anthony Hall Suspended Without Pay

B’nai Brith Canada is commending the University of Lethbridge for officially suspending Anthony Hall, a Globalization Studies professor who vocally supports Holocaust denial and conspiracy theories blaming the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks on Israel. A video posted to YouTube this morning by Hall outlines that he has been suspended from his position without pay, as the university prepares termination procedures.

B'nai Brith Complaint Leads to Dismissal of York University Staff Member

York University has dismissed an employee following an investigation into his antisemitic social media use. Nikolas Balaskas, a long-time lab technician in York's Department of Astronomy and Physics, was the subject of a B'nai Brith Canada complaint to the university's administration on Aug. 22.

Dimitri Lascaris Turfed from Green Party Shadow Cabinet

In a statement, the Green Party announced that Lascaris was removed, along with Lisa Barrett and Colin Griffiths, from its Shadow Cabinet because they publicly criticized the leader of the B.C. Green Party, Andrew Weaver. Weaver was critical of his party for considering a policy endorsing Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS). B'nai Brith Canada had proactively reached out to Weaver as early as July 8, calling on him to publicly oppose the boycott motion.

Former Green Party Candidate Makes Holocaust Denial Video

Monika Schaefer, who stood as the Green Party of Canada's candidate in the Alberta riding of Yellowhead in 2006, 2008 and 2011, is denying the Holocaust in a homemade Youtube video. Schaefer has also taken credit for convincing Green Party Leader Elizabeth May to submit a 9/11 conspiracy petition to Parliament in 2014.
