The Myth of the World Community

From the fluttering blue flag of the U.N. with its stylized symbol of the map of the world enclosed by olive tree branches, to the whole collection of global organizations and imagery right down to posters featuring children from every country holding hands, and the rest of the globalist propaganda-- Americans have been imprinted as never before from a very early age with the idea that they are part of a global community, rather than merely one nation. But behind the olive branches and the posters of smiling children, lies a very different truth entirely.

The White House Takes a Chokehold on the Media

Even as the White House preaches tolerance toward Muslims and Sikhs, it is practicing intolerance, signaling that anyone who challenges the leaders of an embattled America is cynical, political and -- isn't this the subtext? -- unpatriotic... We should dread a climate where the jobs of columnists and comedians are endangered by dissent. -- Maureen Dowd, New York Times, September 30, 2001

Why Left Wing Anti-Zionism is Anti-Semitism

imageIn a clear demonstration of just how "progressive" they really are, the Anti-Israel left is hard at working trying to revive the medieval blood libel. First the Swedish daily Aftonbladet repeated Palestinian Arab propaganda about medically impossible organ thefts, and then the left wing Counterpunch magazine run by Saddam supporter Alexander Cockburn printed an article actually using medieval blood libels against Jews as proof.

America Apologizes for its Own Existence

Last week was Columbus Day, once considered a major event, the holiday has been undergoing a decline in recent years. Columbus Day parades have met with protests and some have been deemphasized or outright eliminated.

J Street’s Anti-Israel Hate Fest Goes off the Rails

The Pro-Hamas, Anti-Israel group J Street is holding its first annual gala dinner and thanks to the Obama Administration's backing, they've managed to bring a lot of congressmen on board. This is meant to be a major coup for the Anti-Israel organization by bringing a third of congress on board, giving them equal leverage to AIPAC.

Islamism Must Carry a Price

Islamists are sworn to make war on the West, to drive out freedom and democracy, replacing them with the mandated tyranny of Islamic law. They declare all laws and all nations that do not originate or abide by Islamic law to be invalid. And they reserve the right to make war on them by any means necessary, from the political to the economic to the terroristic.

The Nobel Appeasement Prize

Quick, name the greatest peacemaker of the 20th Century who never received a Nobel Peace Prize? The wrong answer given by Foreign Policy magazine is Gandhi. The right answer is British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

Saudi Arabia Behind Obama’s Iran Policy

imageThe first and most important thing to understand about Obama's Iran policy is that it is driven primarily by the concerns of Saudi Arabia, not Israel, as the media and diplomats would have you believe. While Israel is most visibly in Iran's nuclear sights, it is commonly understood in the Middle East that the path to leadership of the Arab, and by extension Muslim world, lies through the destruction of Israel. The consensus of the Sunni Muslim powers, who had lost several wars to Israel, was to limit themselves to proxy wars through the sponsorship of terrorists such as the PLO.

The Nobel Peace Prize Jumps the Shark

imagePart of the fun of living under the Obama Administration is having your news headlines keep turning into April Fool's Day. This belated April Fool's Day, a bunch of aging left wing Norwegians decided to give away the Nobel Peace Prize to one Barack Obama... for just being himself.

Putting the Mainstream Media Out of its Misery

The business model of the mainstream media is rapidly approaching the point at which it will become economically unsustainable. Ads and subscriptions are the primary revenue source for newspapers and magazines. The internet does advertising better and cheaper, both nationally and locally, and subscriptions increasingly make less sense when most publications share the same print content for free on their own websites.

The Obama Who Would Be King

imageThe loss of the Chicago Olympics should not have been particularly embarrassing to Obama. Previous administrations were not tarnished by lost Olympic bids for the simple reason that they did not get involved in them. Bush did not jump on board New York City's ill fated 2012 Olympic bid. He did not fly out to make a personal appearance, spread his charisma and press the flesh on behalf of a bid being waged by a single city. And there was no reason for him to do so. That is because for all the criticisms directed at Bush by the left and the far-right, he understood his duties and the limits of his power in a way that Obama does not.

Gilad Shalit - Human Weakness in the Face of Terrorism

Muslim terrorists pride themselves on their amorality. On having no individual sense of right or wrong, only the abstract codes of Islamic law that can be modified at will to allow terrorists to do virtually anything to anyone, so long as it is in the name of the Jihad.

The Sick Man of Europe meets Islam

Turkey was once known as the Sick Man of Europe because it appeared to be a failed state headed for collapse and ripe for colonization, but today it is Western Europe that appears to be sick, and Turkey's Islamists, along with their co-religionists in the Middle East that are heading up the reverse colonization effort.

Zelaya’s Chief Propagandist Endorses Hitler and the Holocaust

David Romero EllnerNot long after ousted wannabe Marxist dictator Manuel Zelaya issued a bizarre rant about Israelis attacking him with high frequency radiation and toxic gases, his chief propagandist, David Romero Ellner, who heads up Honduras' Radio Globo went on the air to suggest that Hitler had been right and that it was unfortunate that he had not gotten the chance to finish off the Holocaust.

Obama’s Hollywood Backers Stand Up for a Pedophile Rapist

Nearly a month ago many prominent figures in Hollywood and the international world of film signed the Toronto Declaration pushing for the boycott of a film festival that dared to showcase Israeli films. At the end of this month, many prominent figures in Hollywood and the world of film signed a petition calling for the immediate release of the rapist of a 13 year old girl, who also happens to be a major figure in Hollywood and the international world of film, namely one Roman Polanski.

The Socialist Strategy

The Socialist StrategyGovernment is essentially a national management system, taking on those tasks that it would be unwise or unworkable to turn over to the free market. Good government functions as intended. Bad government takes over the nation and becomes an absolute force, looting and raiding public resources, suppressing individual freedoms in order to keep itself in power. In olden days this sort of government was considered a tyranny.

Can There be Peace Without War?

To the modern citizen of the West, peace is an ideal and war is a tragedy. Depending on his or her political orientation, war may even be considered inexcusable under any circumstances. At the heart of this dogma is the idea that war is a disruption of a state of peace, brought on by greedy warmongers, the military industrial complex or some modern day variation on the old 19th century labels. But what if rather than being a disruptive force, war is actually the father of peace.

The Big Nuclear Problem

The media is praising Obama for chairing a UN National Security Council summit at which everyone agreed that the world would be better off without nuclear weapons... someday. This groundbreaking achievement parallels similar UN conclusions that the world would be better off without poverty, hunger, war and other ills... someday. In the present day however, the UN has once again sidetracked a specific problem with a general prescription.

Netanyahu Speaks, Islam Conquers

First up is the Binyamin Netanyahu speech at the UN. In sharp contrast to Kaddafi's rambling lunacy or Obama's generic "Insert Talking Points and Hopeful Slogans" speech-- Netanyahu distinguished himself by speaking well and to the point. He challenged the UN directly to be better than it is and to live up to its own values.
