China "epidemic": the strange role of the middle class

China epidemic: the strange role of the middle class Sometimes, during years of research, unusual dots pop up, and you see connections you never suspected were there. Here is a bottom line connection. When the poor and disenfranchised people mount a protest against some draconian action of the State or corporation, the super-rich controllers don't register outright panic.

"The Chinese virus is spreading"---deception and false news

Wuhan is notorious for polluting smogMost people are accepting the news that the Chinese coronavirus is spreading across China and the world. They don't understand ground-level facts. First of all, in every so-called epidemic, diagnoses of patients are eventually made by simple observation. The patient has typical flu symptoms? Fever, cough, fatigue, weakness, respiratory problems? He lives or works in an area where the epidemic has been reported? Boom, tell the patient he has the epidemic disease. Obviously, this is absurd. But it happens. And then you hear or read, "Today, three more people were found to be infected with the virus in (insert name of city)."

New China virus, Swine Flu hoax, history matters

New China virus, Swine Flu hoax, history matters I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but...history matters. When you see a new story on the horizon, and it looks a lot like an old story you know was a hoax, you have to dig up that history and report it.

Video vs. The Mind

Video vs. The MindI invite readers to try this experiment. To obtain evidence about a significant issue, watch a YouTube video. When you're done, explain to a friend what you learned. SPECIFICALLY. Chapter and verse. Revelations like "the government is corrupt" or "you really need to watch the video yourself" don't count.

Paddock shot security guard BEFORE mass shooting: huge new can of worms

LA Times, October 9: "Police have dramatically changed their account of how the Las Vegas massacre began on Oct. 1, revealing Monday that the gunman shot a hotel security guard [in the leg through the closed door of his hotel room] six minutes before opening fire on a country music concert - raising new questions about why police weren't able to pinpoint the gunman's location sooner."

The Individual vs. Globalism

"Global solution" means the individual is cut out of the equation, he doesn't count, he doesn't mean anything in the larger scheme of things, he's just another pawn and cipher to move around on the board.

Australia "weather-experts" falsify climate change

"Global warming is a non-problem...I say this to Obama: Excuse me, Mr. President, but you're wrong. Dead wrong." (Dr. Ivar Giaever, Nobel-Prize winner in physics) "The computer models just weren't reliable. In fact, I'm not sure the whole thing isn't crazy, this climate change." (Green Guru James Lovelock, who once predicted imminent destruction of the planet via global warming)

Why I love schools that ban books

Let's start here. In 2016, as US News reports, "The Portland Public Schools Board on Tuesday decided to ban any classroom materials that cast doubt on climate change. The resolution passed unanimously and requires that textbooks and other material purchased by the district present climate change as a fact rather than theory. Material will also need to present human activity as one of the phenomenon's causes."

Politicians lying about lying about lying

I write about this one because the "mistake" excuse is prominent. I love the "mistake." Politicians invoke it all the time when their backs are against the wall. They didn't do anything wrong. They didn't lie on purpose. They made a mistake---something on the level of forgetting to turn off the lights in the basement after climbing up the stairs to the kitchen.

Buy your food from the CIA: Amazon buys Whole Foods

When Amazon boss and billionaire Jeff Bezos bought the Washington Post in 2013, he also had an ongoing $600 million contract to provide cloud computing services to the CIA. That meant the Washington Post, which already had a long history of cooperation with the CIA, renewed their wedding vows with the Agency and doubled down on the alliance.

Chuck Schumer is beginning to see the handwriting on the wall

Senator Chuck Schumer on MSNBC: "We're no longer fact-based. The founding fathers created a country based on fact. We don't have a fact base. If Breitbart News and the New York Times are regarded with equal credibility, you worry about this democracy."
