Media Hype, or McCain Redux

I have mentioned in previous columns that the Ministry of Propaganda, aka, the “mainstream” media, has no problem whatsoever with lying about anything that it thinks will make people believe Marxist and neo-fascist ideas and policies are better for you than mother’s milk. I have also mentioned that they expend an inordinate amount of time and effort in convincing their readers and viewers that certain Republican candidates for office are dang near that good, too. Anyone remember John McCain?

Onward and Downward

The lies just never stop. In spite of the fact that all the credit rating companies warned that if the deficit were not reduced by at least $4 trillion dollars, our credit rating would be lowered, the Democrats adamantly refused to do anything but increase it. Now, they are hysterically blaming everyone else, especially the ones who actually had a viable plan to lower it, i.e., the Tea Parties, for doing what Obama-Soetoro and his radical Marxist and neo-fascist co-conspirators meant to do all along.

Unprecedented Obama

For two-and-a-half years, the neo-fascist Democrats, led by the corrupt Harry Reid (D-NV) and the looney and corrupt Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), willfully refused to submit a budget, in spite of holding a large majority in Congress, and the presidency. The government has thus been forced to operate on continuing resolutions, allowing the fascists to play brinksmanship games, over and over. And each time, they and their Ministry of Propaganda, aka, the “mainstream” media, pour out a torrent of hysterical lies about how the Republicans (meaning “conservatives,” though God knows few Republicans are nowadays) are out to brutally kill old people, torture autistic children, starve the working poor, cut off medical care for the seriously ill, and any other far-fetched, hateful, rabble-rousing charge they can dream up.

The mind boggles. In March, 2006, the Liar in Chief, then a do-nothing Senator from Illinois said this: "The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Treason, Redux

I don’t know about you, but I always thought that it was an act of treason to intentionally undermine the Constitution. I also thought that intentionally committing acts that economically cripple the country, thus rendering her incapable of defending herself or standing as a sovereign nation was also treason. And doing this at a time when the country is, rightfully or wrongfully, at war, thus, giving aid and comfort to our enemies, in my never humble opinion, leaves no doubt that this is treason.

Transparent Neo-fascism

Obama-Soetoro and his unindicted Democrat co-conspirators made a big deal of “transparency” when they took over the government back in 2008, and indeed, it’s not hard to see right through them. Card-carrying looney, Nancy Pelosi, vowed to “drain the swamp,” an odd turn of a phrase, since it was Democrats and their environmental extremist allies who magically transformed swamps into “wetlands.” Ever since, though, all they have done is lie and cover up their own corruption.

Even though who we elect to our state legislatures and to the federal House and Senate is, in reality of the power and effect they have on our daily lives, far more important than who we elect as president, we always seem to put most of our political energy and enthusiasm into the presidential race. This year seems to be no different. On the Republican side, a few candidates have emerged, and this lineup will likely change before the first primaries are over. Some are really good, some clearly are lacking, but it’s up to us to decide who our nominee will be, not the Republican Party “leadership,” and clearly not the so-called “mainstream” media.

Democrat Political Exercise: Bend and Stretch the Law

Unless you’ve been safely tucked away in a cave on the dark side of the moon for the past 200 years, you probably know that Democrats invented election fraud. The most recent example of their talent and expertise was the special election in New York’s 26th Congressional District, where a far left Democrat masqueraded as a Tea Party candidate. Correctly counting on the laziness of voters to know who they are actually voting for – does “Barak Hussein Obama” ring a bell? – he managed to garner nine percent of the conservative vote, allowing the openly declared liberal Democrat to win.
