‘Your Decision in Roe v. Wade has Deformed a Great Nation’

Mother Teresa is renowned throughout the world for her works of charity. Less well-known, however, is Mother Teresa, the champion of the unborn. This year, 2008, as we mark the 35th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's tragic Roe v. Wade decision that made abortion legal, the courage and candor of Mother Teresa can be an inspiration for all people who defend the one right from which all others spring--the right to life.

Shock: California proposes to take mandatory control of private home temperatures

Note: We are getting a glimpse of the future and it is terrifying! Oh, the madness… Excerpt: California utilities would control the temperature of new homes and commercial buildings in emergencies with a radio-controlled thermostat, under a proposed state update to building energy efficiency standards. Electing Obama a Slap in the Face to Muslims Everywhere?

Daniel Pipes did a little research on the question of Barack Hussein Obama's youthful status as a Muslim. Is he one? Was he one? Was he a practicing Muslim, an indifferent one, not one at all? To Americans, this question seems rather ridiculous. Most would wonder why anyone would care? But, the answer to the question isn't one that affects Americans. It may not even bother American Muslims.

Immigration in Spain - A profile

The dream of most immigrants is to strike it rich and then move back home. But, striking it rich is relative, given that in many of the countries these people come from the monthly salary can be around 200 dollars.

Official Apologies as Empty Gestures

The front page of the Star-Ledger, New Jersey’s largest circulation daily, had a story on January 8, “Jewish Cemetery Vandalized.” In its New Jersey news section inside the paper, among the “Action in Trenton” roundup, was a short item, “Apology for slavery sails through legislature.”

Traitors Who Teach

One of the themes our presidential candidates are running on is “repairing our image overseas.” Now while we do have a well-funded State Department to handle diplomacy, supermodels, movie stars, and other members of the pop culture intelligentsia routinely meet with some who are formally considered our “enemy”. We can add another group of foreign policy meddlers to the list.

John Tory: Ontario’s Hillary Clinton

Ontario Progressive Conservative leader John Tory has something in common with US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. No, it’s not their political philosophy, although that would be a good guess.

Don’t count Hillary out just yet

Ah, the wisdom of American punditry. Just as Barack Obama starts to display a surprising amount of strength, many American columnists are looking at the prospect of “President Obama” as being a fait accompli.

Hillary for President Autopsy Shocker!

Hillary Rodham Clinton was supposed to be dead this morning, figuratively speaking that is. According to nearly all political wizards, Hillary was destined to be stabbed in the heart by a clean and articulate black man in the hinterlands of New Hampshire.

Pining for an America That Does What Foreigners Want Her to Do

Moisés Naím, who is also editor in chief of Foreign Policy magazine, wants to pretend that he and his ilk love America in a Washington Post op ed. But, after reading his newest editorial, titled "A Hunger For America" where he denounces the U.S.A.'s "incompetence, recklessness and ignorance," one can only come to the conclusion that he only loves it when America does what foreigners want her to do.

If GOP Runs a RINO for President, The Party Will Crash and Burn

Republicans in Name Only, or RINOs, are a great asset to the Democrat Party and the news media. The liberals know they have little if any credibility, therefore when they wish to make a point they mention that Republicans also want what they want.

America is missing out on a great man

America is missing out on Alan Keyes.  Many conservatives have told me they didn't even know Keyes was running for President...he is. Keyes has announced his candidacy in September 2007.

Michigan CCW Record Proves Anti-Gunners lied…Again

After six years of expanded concealed carry in Michigan, the record speaks for itself: No shootouts at traffic stops, a decline in firearms deaths and suicides, and violent crime is down. Concealed carry works, and the hysteria pandered by anti-gun extremists who opposed the law has been proven false.

Unromanticizing Oliver Stone

Oliver StoneMy Colombian friends at Bogotá Free Planet are more than a little put out that “maverick” American film director Oliver Stone would write their country off as his country’s personal playing field. It didn’t go over the heads of average Colombians that the sore loser, spoil sport Hollywood director--caught looking bad with sidekick Hugo Chavez on a hostage release that never happened--made his scathing comments from the safety of his California spread.

Sen. Obama’s Calls for Unity Are Not What They Seem

We are repeatedly told by the news media that there is a deep, almost palpable, yearning among Americans for unity. And Sen. Barack Obama's repeated and eloquent claims to being able to unite Americans are a major reason for his present, and very possibly eventual, success in his quest for his party's nomination for president of the United States.
