Jan 18, 2019 — PJ Media

A Christian actor in northeastern Mexico has financed what will become the world’s largest statue of Jesus Christ — in the country’s fifth most dangerous city.

Eduardo Verástegui Córdoba, a Christian actor and pro-life activist, announced that the “Christ of Peace” statue will tower at 252 feet, nearly twice the size of “Christ the Redeemer,” the 125-foot-high statue marking the skyline of Rio de Janiero, Brazil.—More…

After Ignoring Angel Moms, Senate Dems Hold Rally for Government Workers Affected by Shutdown

Jan 17, 2019 — PJ Media

Senate Democrats held a shutdown rally in front of the Capitol Wednesday morning, holding giant photos of government workers affected by the shutdown.

“Each one of these Americans has a different story about how the shutdown is hurting them and their families,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said. “As the Trump shutdown drags on, more and more Americans are hurt,” Schumer intoned. He went on to share the story of a federal food safety inspector for the Department of Agriculture who has missed a paycheck and now doesn’t know how he’s going to be able to afford his medical bills.—More…

Former Obama Tech Guy Was Behind 2018 Midterm Disinformation Campaign on Facebook

Jan 10, 2019 — PJ Media

It’s often been said that if you want to know what Democrats are up to, pay attention to the lies they are telling about Republicans.

Did the Trump team collude with agents from a Russian internet firm to place fake news on Facebook designed to stoke outrage, benefiting Trump in the run-up to the 2016 election?—More….

Dems Say They Aren’t Refusing Their Pay During Shutdown Because it Would be a ‘Distraction’

Jan 10, 2019 — PJ Media

WASHINGTON – One Democratic congressman told PJM he’s not joining other members of Congress in declining a paycheck during the government shutdown because it would be a “distraction” if lawmakers weren’t paid, as well.

So far, more than a dozen lawmakers have voluntarily declined their paychecks due to the ongoing shutdown. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) has reintroduced the No Budget No Pay Act and announced that he would send his payment to the U.S. Treasury until the government reopens.—More….

Prizzi’s Honor, Seed of Chucky

Jan 10, 2019 — PJ Media

As the shutdown heads into its fourth week, the nation is getting used to the radical idea that we can actually do without the fleets of bureaucrats who, in the immortal words of the Declaration of Independence, have been “sent hither to harass our people and eat out their substance.” For decades, as the federal leviathan has grown ever larger, and poked its voracious snout into all manners of unconstitutional fodder, the people of the United States have largely sat idly by, hoping to catch some of the droppings from the creature’s maw in the belief that it will not eat them too as it forages merrily along.

To be sure, the furloughed public servants are merely suffering delayed paychecks thanks to the Democrats’ refusal to accept the results of the 2016 election, and while the public has not been as deliberately inconvenienced as it was during the dog-in-the-manger Obama shutdown, its effects are nevertheless being felt at such points of intersection as the national parks. Still, life has gone on otherwise pretty much as before—and the longer the shutdown rolls on, the more easily the way we were can be forgotten.—More…

Wikipedia Calls Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez an ‘Educator’

Jan 8, 2019 — PJ Media

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has grabbed headlines for absurd claims like suggesting that Pentagon witchcraft can pay for single-payer health care or that Americans need to fight climate change like we fought the Nazis in World War II. Few would venture to call her an “educator” — except Wikipedia, apparently.

The online encyclopedia describes Ocasio-Cortez as “an American politician, activist, and educator.” Since Wikipedia is widely considered reliable, this result is the top search result on Google, meaning that if curious Americans were to ask their “smart” devices about Ocasio-Cortez, Siri, Google Home, Alexa, and others would give the immediate answer “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is an American politician, activist, and educator.”—More….

New CNN Poll: Majority Now Against Impeaching Trump

Dec 17, 2018 — PJ Media

A new CNN poll shows a majority of Americans are opposed to impeaching Donald Trump. In September, a plurality of 47 percent supported impeaching the president. Today, 50 percent say Trump shouldn’t be removed from office.

Americans break against that idea, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. Half, 50%, say they don’t feel that Trump ought to be impeached and removed from office, while 43% say he should be. Support for impeachment has dipped some since September, when 47% favored it, and is about the same as in a June poll (42% favored it then). Support for impeachment of Trump remains higher than it was for each of the last three presidents at any time it was asked. It’s on par with President Richard Nixon, who 43% of Americans said should be impeached and removed from office in a March 1974 Harris poll.—More…

ISIS Threat Depicts Murdered Santa in Strasbourg Square

11-Year-Old Kid Named ‘Trump’ Forced to Change His Name After Attacks by School Bullies

Dec 15, 2018 — PJ Media

In the age of anti-bullying and zero tolerance, a disturbing type of bullying is going completely unrecognized. LGBTQ activists have set up anti-bullying programs that your children are required to attend in all public schools. Not only do these programs contain the usual “be nice” directives but they also incorporate graphic sexual information about gay sex and queerness in order to break down your child’s morality and defenses and remove his religious teaching. That’s what anti-bullying programs really do. Understand that anti-bullying activists don’t care one whit how their own acolytes treat anyone. What they care about is brainwashing kids into leftism. If you are not sufficiently brainwashed into hating Trump and Republicans, then you are fair game for any amount of ridicule.

An eleven-year-old boy named Josh Trump has been the brunt of this “acceptable” ridicule since the 2016 election. Like myself, Josh has a famous name, even though he is no relation to the president. Luckily, all I have to put up with are Transformers jokes and the occasional Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crack. Josh, on the other hand, is taunted mercilessly at school while his teachers at the Brandywine School District in Delaware do nothing. “They curse at him, they call him an idiot, they call him stupid,” reported his mother, Megan Trump, to ABC 6 news. The abuse is not just verbal but also physical. Joshua has reported being punched on the bus.—MORE…

John Podhoretz: The ‘Murder’ of ‘The Weekly Standard’ Wasn’t About Trump

Dec 14, 2018 — PJ Media

R.I.P. Weekly Standard. On Friday, staff at the conservative magazine were told to clear out their desks by 5 p.m. Many fans of President Donald Trump hailed the Standard’s shuttering as evidence of Trump’s victory over the #NeverTrump holdouts, but the magazine’s co-founder, John Podhoretz, insisted that is the wrong lesson to learn.

“One key thing: It actually wasn’t about Trump, or only about Trump on the margins. This was far more in the nature of a weird personal vendetta,” Podhoretz tweeted.—More…

Ex-Muslim Christian Pastor, Refugee From Iran, Arrested for Sharing His Testimony — in Minneso

Dec 2, 2018 — PJ Media

Late last month, Ramin Parsa, a Christian pastor who fled Iran as a religious refugee, was arrested for privately sharing his faith testimony in the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. He fled persecution in Iran and Turkey, only to find persecution in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

“I came to the U.S. as a political and religious — as a Christian — refugee. They oppressed me for my faith in Iran. I was stabbed in Iran,” Parsa told PJ Media in an interview on Tuesday. Then last week, he was arrested for a private conversation about his faith, handcuffed to a metal chair for four hours without water, and later charged with trespassing.—MORE…
