Why the Founding Fathers Matter

It has become typical in school text books, in public discussions, and in the smug wisdom of Progressives, to diminish the words and actions of those who led the founding of the United States. However, now that the nation has gone through what Al Gore called a “wrenching transformation” away from limited government, free enterprise, and individual liberty (all major ingredients to making the US the freest and most prosperous nation in history) it’s time to listen again to their wisdom.

The RNC Failed - Not You!

I know, as a result of the elections, you are feeling down and perhaps not ready to jump back in the battle. I know how you feel. Sometimes it's just hard to get up in the morning after being kicked like that.

Private Property Rights Defined

As the battle to stop Sustainable Development grows, it is important that activists have clear definitions of their points as they deal with elected officials and planners who are making policy in their community. Below is a start in defining private property rights.

National Heritage Areas: The Land Grabs Continue

19 counties in Southern Virginia are being included in a proposed Heritage Area called The Crooked Road National Heritage Area. The excuse for this new federal land control program is that it will honor and bring nationwide attention to the rich musical heritage of the area that was home to such famous acts as the June Carter Family. Plans call for a 300 mile Heritage Corridor that will connect nine major heritage venues and more than 50 affiliated music venues. Tourism and economic growth are the promises.

The American Planning Association and Its “Faulty” Handbook

With great fanfare, the American Planning Association (APA) reported results of a recent survey the group conducted, (“Planning America: Perceptions and Priorities”) showing that the anti- Agenda 21 “crowd is slim.” Said the report, only 6% of those surveyed expressed opposition to Agenda 21, while 9% expressed support for Agenda 21 and 85%, “the vast majority of respondents, don’t know about Agenda 21.

The Power of One

“If you’ve got a business – you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” Barack Obama, Roanoke, VA, July 13, 2012 Thomas Edison tried over 1,000 times to come up with the successful process to make an incandescent light bulb work. When someone remarked that he had failed 1,000 times, he said, “I have successfully discovered 1,000 ways to not make a light bulb.” Other men might have given up and failed. Edison was one man with a determination to succeed.

Environmental Protection or Global Governance?

Those who are determined to impose global governance on the rest of us have made great sport out of attacking anyone who dares oppose their plans. They have attacked those who challenge their claims of global warming by calling for "Nuremburg-style" show trials. Al Gore has actually called for violence against climate "skeptics." The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has called those who oppose the policies of Barack Obama domestic terrorists. But if you watch and listen long enough, you will hear incredible things come out of their mouths. You will find that they really are lying about their intent. It's not really about saving the environment--but about controlling the world--just like we opponents said. Amazing, isn't it? Here, let them tell you in their own words:

When Loving Your Country Marks You As A Domestic Terrorist

When I first became involved in political issues and events some 45 years ago as a young man just out of high school, it was because I believed in the ideals of our Founding Fathers. I had a young man’s zeal for the American dream of individuals living their lives free of government control and harassment. I was comfortable in the knowledge that I lived in the greatest nation on earth, where I could speak my mind; choose my own future; and nothing but my own limitations would stand in my way.

R.I.P Henry Lamb and Tommy Cryer

The freedom movement lost two courageous leaders this past month. Our movement is poorer for their passing, but our nation’s richer from their lives.

Agenda 21: Conspiracy Theory or Threat

The battle over Agenda 21 is raging across the nation. City and County Councils have become war zones as citizens question the origins of development plans and planners deny any international connections to the UN’s Agenda 21. What is the truth? Since I helped start this war, I believe it is up to me to help with the answers.

An Effective Campaign to Eradicate Poverty

There are many efforts underway to focus attention on world poverty. In a world of massive government spending that is supposed to be used to help the poor (at least that is the popular excuse), the statistics on global poverty are staggering.

Constitutional Convention Can Not Be Controlled

As Americans become more frightened by the disastrous direction our government is taking, and more frustrated that elected representatives are not listening to them, the demand is growing for drastic action. In recent months the action most heard in state houses across the nation is a rising call for a new Constitutional Convention (Con Con).

“Progressives” and the Art of Civility

When concerned Americans objected to Obama's health care scheme and turned out at town hall meetings in strong opposition, they were called racists and fringe radicals. The Department of Homeland Security then released a report calling those Americans who opposed Obama's policies “potential domestic terrorist.” As more and more Americans took up the protests against an ever growing federal government, the “Progressives” took to the CNN/MSNBC/New York Times media cabal to accuse the growing Tea Party of violence and then called for “civility” in political debate. That of course meant NO DEBATE. Its got to be their way or ... as Teamster leader James Hoffa put it... ”Let's take these sons of bitches out.”

Sustainable Development Means a Wrenching Transformation of Your Life

Recently W. Cecil Steward, dean emeritus of the UNL College of Architecture (Lincoln, Nebraska) launched what can only be described as a diatribe against a talk I gave recently in Lincoln. My topic was Sustainable Development and how it is transforming out nation. In his article, Mr. Steward, rather than provide any substance on the issue, prefers instead, to use words designed to paint me as an extremist playing on people’s fear.

Corporate Social Responsibility: Why Private Industry Keeps Telling Us to “Go Green”

I’ve sounded the alarm over the dangers of Sustainable Development and the agenda for top-down control through what proponents call the “Three Es,” which includes the Environment, the Economy, and Social Equity. A fourth rail to imposing Agenda 21 is called Corporate Social Responsibility. It is the direct result of the merging of the Three Es. CSR is the map to understanding why corporations are actively promoting the “green” agenda – even to the detriment of their own business. Picture, if you will, an Isosceles triangle. And label each point: 1.Government Power 2. Corporate Money 3. NGOs Agenda
