Fiddling while Asia burns

The Australian Government calls carbon dioxide, the gas of life, a pollutant. The US EPA has declared the same gas a health hazard. These asinine laws decree that a mother’s warm breath on her baby’s face is a toxin.

Carbon Bribery and Corruption

Now that the “Climate Scare-a-Day” campaign of 2009 has failed to spook the people, the New Year will see acceleration of the next ploy - “carbon bribery and corruption”.

Copenhagen Climate Commuters should all Walk Home

Right now, over 15,000 green hypocrites, mostly funded by the world’s suffering tax payers, have winged their way in comfortable carbon-fuelled air travel to Copenhagen’s best VIP accommodation. There they will be seeking ways to forcibly reduce our carbon footprint while inflating theirs.

It’s all about the Cash

Cash income for government wastrels who have trouble balancing their books; cash profits for bankers, traders and speculators in the permit trading game; cash receipts for carbon credit harvesters;

No Escape for Farmers

The Lib/Lab managers of the Cap-n-Tax Scheme have decided to give “permanent exemption to farmers”. What rot. All they have done is exempted emissions from farm animals, which should never have been part of the scheme anyway.

Why Compromise is Defeat

The next few weeks are crucial. Australians can choose to assist the creation of the World Carbon Rationing, Tax and Redistribution Authority, administered by the United Nations, or we can take a step on the road back to energy and climate sanity.
