A life-sized statue of horse of the year 2014 Kingman is to be created

Internationally acclaimed animal sculptor Edward Waites will work on a clay mould of Kingman, a retired British Thoroughbred racehorse owned by Khalid Abdullah and trained by John Gosden. As a three-year-old he won the Group 1 Irish 2000 Guineas, St. James's Palace Stakes, Sussex Stakes and Prix Jacques le Marois.

Birkett Ferguson Award winner announced

Lynne Davies from Hampshire, UK has won the coveted Birkett Ferguson Award at the Creative Coverage Forest Connections exhibition at the New Forest Centre Gallery, Lyndhurst, Hampshire.
