Statement from Thomas Collins, Archbishop of Toronto

Tomorrow, our Governor General will preside at a ceremony in which Henry Morgentaler will formally be received into the Order of Canada. This is a sad moment in Canadian history.

Hands up! You’re under arrest for saying ‘Hussein Obama!’

Bobby Eberle, GOPUSA.COM We have seen many changes in this great nation which have been brought about by left wing activists. As kids, we used to say the Pledge of Allegiance. Now, it's being attacked in the courts. We used to say a prayer in the morning before school or at football games. Socialists in America have deemed that "offensive" and the practice has all but disappeared. Christmas displays honoring the birth of Christ trigger convulsions by the Left, who say that we shouldn't make people feel "uncomfortable" with our manger scenes.

Serenity – A Cottage with a View

Graham’s Pioneer RetreatIt was my first visit to Nova Scotia and it was an adventure. The trip started with a stay overnight in Peggy’s Cove and ended in Halifax. In between were assignments of taking pictures of where old friends grew up. One of those places was Digby, N.S which is famous for its scallops. One of the best places we stayed at was Graham’s Bayside Cottages. (Aka Graham’s Pioneer Retreat). They are located in “Digby Neck” 25kms west of Digby. When you look up the word ‘serenity” in the dictionary, it means calmness. It also means “the state or quality of being serene”. Serenity is the perfect name of the cottage we rented. It was one of three cottages available to rent at this romantic, peaceful secluded resort.

If they could talk

The world of dogs has always been politically charged. There is competition in the ring and every step it takes to get there. As a result, dog lovers are not strangers to controversy and speculation.

ACORN should be Obama’s undoing

We will never know exactly how many fraudulent votes ACORN will be responsible for in the upcoming presidential election, but If the whole truth about ACORN and its long and intimate relationship with rookie United States Senator and 2008 Democrat presidential nominee Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. becomes fully and generally known, on Election Night 2008 Obama and his ACORNites will moan.

Labour Minister Silent on Checks and Balances

(Queen’s Park) – MPP Randy Hillier took aim at the Minister of Labour during another round of Estimates Committee yesterday. While woefully unprepared, the Minister’s answers to Hillier’s constant grilling were indicative of the lack of respect for the job creators in the province of Ontario.

Obama’s False Ayers

Barack Obama’s Smooth Talk Express hit a road block last weekend when Sarah Palin stood athwart yelling stop and demanding to know why the Democratic standard bearer was “palling around” with an unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground. Obama’s chief strategist, David Axelrod, claims Obama “didn’t know the history” of Bill Ayers and his activities with the Weather Underground. Just like Obama “didn’t know the history” of his former pastor Jeremiah Wright. Well, we know what they say about those who don’t know their history.

The idiot vote

Howard Stern sends out people to poll Obama voters in Harlem, attributing all of McCain's positions to Obama. Those questioned didn't seem to recognize that positions such as being pro life and finishing the war in Iraq were the exact opposite of Obama's actual positions. And they all still support Obama. Tell me again exactly who is casting a vote based on race.

Obama’s Henchmen and the Rise of Commufascism

The secret to selling bad ideas is to make sure they are the only ones available. This is how totalitarian regimes take power. Whether it was Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany or Vladimir Lenin in Communist Russia, the pattern is largely the same – totalitarian dictators come to power by enshrining themselves as cults of personality and then creating political monopolies through often less than delicate campaigns of indoctrination and censorship – especially censorship enshrouded in the intimidating aura of state power.

What debate?

Taylor Ward If everybody wants change, then change the debate moderators to Independents, and have them ask real questions, and then let the two candidates ask each other a set of questions.

Obama’s Endorsements

From: politicallyincorrectfacts.com In this section lets take a look at the radical people that Obama has endorsing him. Of course, this isn't something that Obama can control but it says a great deal about the type of people that are not only supporting but endorsing him. It tells us that these individuals or groups expect to get something positive for themselves or their cause from an Obama presidency. Take a look at the following and draw your own conclusions.

Trickle Down Economics Claims a Client ‘Let’s Pray’

-- Judith Lederman In spite of all the economic turmoil facing the world, until today I was doing OK. Today the trickle down theory was set in motion, and a long-time client informed me that she can no longer afford to keep me as her PR consultant. Now I suppose the news should have been shattering. I am a single mom with a house and family to support. Every client counts. But here is a bizarre thing - I find myself almost glad and I thank G-d because this awakening couldn't have come at a more appropriate time.

The Other Side of the Arts Funding Issue

The Liberals and NDP claim that the Conservatives, particularly Stephen Harper, ’do not get it’ with regards to funding cultural groups. According to them, the majority of Canadians are opposed to the Conservative funding cuts. Yet when we see or hear protests against the funding cuts, it is not ordinary Canadians protesting, but rather those who have made a career of living off government grants.
