Serenity – A Cottage with a View

It was my first visit to Nova Scotia and it was an adventure. The trip started with a stay overnight in Peggy’s Cove and ended in Halifax. In between were assignments of taking pictures of where old friends grew up. One of those places was Digby, N.S which is famous for its scallops. One of the best places we stayed at was Graham’s Bayside Cottages. (Aka Graham’s Pioneer Retreat). They are located in “Digby Neck” 25kms west of Digby. When you look up the word ‘serenity” in the dictionary, it means calmness. It also means “the state or quality of being serene”. Serenity is the perfect name of the cottage we rented. It was one of three cottages available to rent at this romantic, peaceful secluded resort.
