Rush Limbaugh Does Live in Obama’s Head

On May 14 after news broke that President Obama had once again attacked talk radio host Rush Limbaugh by name, El Rusbo joked that he was "living rent-free in Obama's head." It's hard to fault Limbaugh's logic on this. After all, the President of the United States of America has used his bully pulpit to bully Rush nearly a dozen times since he became President.

Was the 2013 ‘Photo of the Year’ a Photoshopped Fake?

At the beginning of the year the World Press Photo of the year was awarded to Swedish photog Paul Hansen whose photo "Gaza Burial" took top honors. But only weeks passed before some in the industry began to wonder if the photo had been manipulated in photoshop. Some even said that it was a composite image. If this were so, critics said, that would violate the spirit of the contest. (Seen below with my little “helping” notation)

New York Times Defends Non-Coverage of Gosnell Trial, Says Trial is Meaningless

For The New York Times, editorial page editor Andrew Rosenthal penned an apologia for the Old Media establishment's disinterest in covering the abortion trial of Kermit Gosnell and essentially claimed that the trial is a meaningless incident when all things are considered, especially when it comes to the overall abortion debate.

Resident Admits Tsarnaev’s Hate For US is Typical in Cambridge

What one resident of Cambridge, Massachusetts had to say about the atmosphere in that liberal area of the state was quite telling in revealing how essentially un-American leftism truly is. This resident practically admitted that the in that college town, everyone expresses the same basic hate for America that dead terrorist Tamerlan Tsarnaev so often did. When he terrorist Tsarnaev was heard attacking America in conversation, no one paid it any mind.

Dear TV, I Don’t Care About Your ‘Reality’

I guess I am increasingly in the minority these days, but television entertainment has taken a turn for the worse. Don’t get me wrong, there are some fantastic shows, many of which are written on a higher level than TV has enjoyed since the days of Playhouse 90 and other serious early drama offerings. But on the other hand TV has made Newton Minnow all too prescient.

The Corruption of Big Spending Democrats

Buried in a recent Politico story is a line that reveals the utter corruption of “money in politics.” But not that of money spent electioneering, but that spent by government from the assumed bottomless pockets of the American taxpayer. It is a corruption that has destroyed the Constitution, laid waste the rule of law, perverted our system, and crushed the American way of life and it must end.

Obama’s Budget Would Use Tax $$ to Fund Lobbyists Pushing Tax Hikes

Remember when Obama took office and one of his biggest promises was that lobbyists would never gain a foothold in his Administration? Well, now that he doesn’t have to stand for election again he's doing his level best to give lobbyists one of their biggest perks yet. He's trying to make it legal to give them your tax dollars so they can lobby to increase your taxes. And in fact he’s already broken laws governing lobbyists several times since 2009.

The CA Bill That Would Shut Down Every Small Restaurant

The State of California has one of the worst proposals of any legislature in the country this year with a new bill that would force every restaurant and food service business in the state to commission an expensive “risk assessment” test for every menu item, a test that could cost thousands of dollars for every food item sold. This outrageous and cost prohibitive testing would certainly cause all but the biggest chain restaurants to go out of business almost instantly.

America’s Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, Stands Alone Against Unions And Outsiders in Recall Effort

Only three weeks after re-election in 2012, Sheriff Joe Arpaio was hit with a recall effort. Now, with anti-Arpaio petitions in circulation in Maricopa County, Arizona, "America's Sheriff" is organizing his forces to oppose a recall backed by the deep pockets of the unions, millions in outside money, and a flood of non-Arizonans arriving to act as the left-winger's ground troops. Obama’s Political Action Group Loses Complaint Against Website Address Owner

Last year, President Obama’s re-election campaign reworked its operations renaming it Organizing for Action in an effort to leverage the President’s monumental email address list to urge supporters to back the President’s policies. But OFA made a tiny mistake: it didn’t register all the various website addresses for its new effort. Worse, when others jumped to register the names, Obama’s political group filed a complaint to get the web addresses back. Now Obama has lost that battle.

Ohio State Student Stomps Pro-Life Signs in Race-Tinged Rant

The left claims to be the “tolerant” ones, we all know, but only when you agree with them and a student at Ohio State proved this to be a truism once again by destroying a pro-life student group’s signs right on the school’s campus and on video, yet. Worse, this student employed what the left calls “racist code words” to denounce the pro-lifers.

Colt Firearms Threatens to Leave Connecticut Over Strict Gun Laws

Continuing the trend of firearms related companies that have been contemplating moving their businesses out of states instituting strict gun control laws, Colt Manufacturing is now considering a move out of Connecticut after 175 years in business. This is due to the new gun bans being mulled by the state legislature and Democrat Governor Dannel Malloy.
