Sisyphus, you may remember, was the king condemned to rolling a stone up a hill only to see it roll back down. That’s sorta how you spell “futile” in Greek mythology.

Canadian Prime Minister Warns Protectionism Greatest Threat to Global Economy

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago — Protectionism is the biggest threat to the global economy, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper told FOX News on Friday, adding that the fifth Summit of the Americas should focus on free trade, not a potential thaw in relations between the United States and the communist island nation of Cuba.

Texas entered the United States as a free and sovereign Nation

Texas entered the United States as a free and sovereign Nation. No other state can claim that. In the “Joint Resolution” for annexation of Texas, the Congress granted Texas the right to divide itself into four additional states. That right was reconfirmed in the Compromise of 1850.

Is China’s Economy Strong Enough To Save the World?

Some China-watchers see a light at the end of the tunnel for the country's faltering economy. Time for a reality check in the Darwin debate

When was the last time you heard the myth that all major scientists support evolution and "real" scientists support Darwin's conclusions. Don't believe it. There's about as much truth to it as the lie that all scientists believe in global warming. The current Darwinian debate is nothing if not fundamentally dishonest.

Harper celebrates our Christian roots

How positively refreshing to have a Prime Minister unashamed to acknowledge the contribution of Christianity to our unique Canadian heritage. He wished "all Canadians, celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ a happy Easter" and acknowledged that "Christian believers have made an indispensible contribution to the history of Canada." While these statements may come as a surprise and even be a source of irritation to those who cling to exclusively secularist ideas of what Canada is all about a little research of our nation's history vindicates the words of the Prime Minister.

More ex-Muslims celebrating Easter this year than at any time in history

- Joel C. Rosenberg Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, "I will build My Church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it." (KJV) Guess what? He wasn't kidding. You rarely hear about it on the news. You rarely even hear about it in churches in the West, in the East, or even in the Middle East. But the big, untold story is that more Muslims are coming to faith in Jesus Christ today than at any other time in history.
