California Police Officers Dead, Gunman Killed After Traffic Stop

OAKLAND, Calif. — A man wanted for violating his parole killed three veteran police officers and gravely wounded another in two shootings Saturday, the first after a routine traffic stop and the second after a massive manhunt ended in gunfire, authorities said. The gunman was also killed.

Senator Chris Dodd spills the beans

President Obama told us he is outraged over the AIG bonuses. He further encouraged us to be outraged also. Today in a CNN interview admitted that he added the amendment allowing the AIG bonuses. After previously denying any involvement with the bonuses he recanted.

Saudis order 40 lashes for elderly woman for mingling

(CNN) -- A Saudi Arabian court has sentenced a 75-year-old Syrian woman to 40 lashes, four months imprisonment and deportation from the kingdom for having two unrelated men in her house, according to local media reports.
