Obama’s Reckless Plan Threatens U.S. Oversight of Internet

The Obama administration is poised to surrender control of certain Internet functions to non-profit ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, on October 1. According to Americans for Limited Government’s senior editor Robert Romano, opposition to this Internet giveaway has united Republicans such as Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and presidential candidate Donald Trump. But questions remain as to whether or not the Republicans will unite sufficiently to insist language is included in a continuing resolution that will forbid the transfer of control.

American Media Shield Obama and Hillary from Libyan Debacle

With a new report from the British Parliament condemning their own country’s decision to help intervene in Libya, the mainstream media have started to rewrite history. The media’s revisionism seeks to repair the damaged foreign policy legacy of President Obama by making the decision to intervene in Libya the fault of foreign countries, particularly France and England.

Why Hillary Continues to Lie

Why does Hillary Clinton continue lying and covering up her various activities, whether it is her pneumonia, or the fact that she regularly sent and received classified information on a private, unsecured server, or that she traded favors, influence and access as secretary of state for large payments to her husband or her family’s foundation?

The Terrible Legacy of 9/11

As we approach the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington, D.C., the tragedy is that the Islamic jihadists are winning too many battles around the world, and have forced the West and its partners to abridge freedoms in pursuit of security. And despite the claims of the Obama administration, the U.S. is not succeeding in leading a coalition of nations to defeat the enemy, which it identifies as ISIL. In fact, ISIL, more commonly known as ISIS, is now operating fully in 18 countries—a three-fold increase in just two years—according to a National Counterterrorism Center report leaked to NBC News in August.

AP Story on Conflicts of Interest Puts Hillary on the Defensive

The Clinton family’s history of pay-for-play while Hillary was secretary of state is blatant, willful, and indisputable. The latest chapter in the Clintons’ quid pro quo scheme was brought to light by the Associated Press. But many in the media have quickly moved past this story, even insisting that the AP was cherry-picking their data to make Mrs. Clinton look bad.

Hillary’s Tangled Web Grows by the Day

Hillary Clinton is still considered by many people to be a fundamentally dishonest candidate. A recent NBC poll shows that only 11 percent of surveyed voters believe she is “honest and trustworthy.” However, contrary to the mainstream media’s attempt to save her reputation, and her campaign’s complaints about a double standard, Mrs. Clinton has done most of the damage to her reputation herself through her penchant for lying.

Does the Clinton Campaign Really Want to Make Benghazi an Issue?

The Benghazi scandal should be a significant campaign issue in this year's presidential race. It goes to the heart of the many questions about Hillary Clinton's integrity, judgment and values, as it does also for President Barack Obama's.

The Media Want to be Neutral, but Trump Won’t Let Them ...

With Donald Trump claiming that he has been treated extremely unfairly by the press, the mainstream media are fighting back. He has often referred to The New York Times as “dishonest” and “failing.” And the Times seems to be pulling out all the stops in its efforts to discredit him. There is no doubt that this is the most vitriolic and hate-filled campaign season in the television era.

Does Hillary’s Record Disqualify Her for the White House?

As deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency, and later acting CIA director, Michael Morell was intimately aware of the intelligence following the September 11, 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya. In fact, he told Congress in 2014 that he personally removed the word “Islamic” from the CIA talking points in order to avoid inflaming Muslims worldwide.

To Russia with Love: Trump vs. Hillary

New revelations regarding Hillary Clinton’s conflicts of interest just keep on coming, regardless of the Democratic candidate’s attempt to stem the flow. Yet Mrs. Clinton lied to Fox News’ Chris Wallace in a recent interview, saying that “there is absolutely no connection between anything that I did as secretary of state and the Clinton Foundation.”

Obama Administration IRS Scandal Back in the News

The mainstream media have gone to great lengths to avoid reporting on controversies with the potential to damage President Obama's reputation or legacy. The endeavor to politicize the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) became an article of impeachment against Richard Nixon in 1974. But the actual politicization of the IRS under Barack Obama is treated as a phony scandal ginned up by Fox News, talk radio and the tea party movement.

Khizr Khan, the Media and the Rest of the Story

When Khizr M. Khan took to the stage at this year’s Democratic National Convention, he was a virtual unknown. But his message struck a chord with many people. On stage Khan challenged Donald Trump’s knowledge of the U.S. Constitution and said that “You have sacrificed nothing and no one.”

Hacked DNC Emails’ Startling Implications

Not since JournoList, the forum of left-wing journalists who coordinated their messaging to support the Democrats, has there been such a pile of smoking guns proving that the left-wing, so-called mainstream media, are, in fact, the public relations arm of the Democrat Party. They are in cahoots with each other, as we’ve been pointing out for decades.

The Melania Trump Kerfuffle

The left was having a rough go of it during the first night of the Republican convention, when they stumbled on their saving grace. Melania Trump, Donald's wife, had given a warmly received speech that highlighted her grace and charm, and the values she shares with her husband. But around midnight, social media began to erupt with comparisons to Michelle Obama's speech in 2008.

CCB Press Conference on Benghazi Largely Ignored by Mainstream Media

On June 29, the Citizens' Commission on Benghazi (CCB) held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington to discuss the release of its new report on the events surrounding the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the Special Mission Compound and CIA Annex, resulting in the deaths of four Americans. As usual, the liberal media largely stayed away. Apparently, if The New York Times, CNN, the Associated Press and NBC don't cover a story, no matter how important, it isn't really news.

How the Media Sided with the Democrats on Gun Control Sit-in

Last week, when Democrats staged a sit-in in the House of Representatives over gun control legislation, the mainstream media were all-too-willing to allow the participants to claim the mantle of being involved in a historic civil rights movement.
