Flash Point: Hot It’s Not – Get Your Bias Right

We have written many articles under the Climate category on this site that deal with the "global warming"; issue and climate temperature. The IPCC and AGW adherents have been confounded by the fact that temperatures have not risen since 1998 (their grudging admission). They have been working overtime to explain this "hiatus"; as a pause in a trend towards planetary ignition due to anthropogenic CO2 in the atmosphere.

Tweedledum & Tweedledee Come to Wales School

Someone should have tipped off little school kids in Wales that Tweedledum and Tweedledee would walk right out of the nursery rhyme when President Barack Obama and Prime Minister David Cameron made a school day visit to their classroom.

He never fails me

Each day I arise to the sun shining, the birds chirping and the clear and present danger Obama will screw something else up before lunch. He never fails me.

Cyberspace in the Service of ISIS

While not much is known about the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS, otherwise known as the Islamic State), because it has no centralized control, and its size and command structure, along with the identity of its leaders, are unclear, it is already obvious we are only at the beginning of a new fierce war in cyberspace. Indeed, while embodying the evil spirit of fanaticism, the organization’s activity demonstrates the duality between what appears to be primitivism and 21st century cyber warfare. In turn, in a step that aroused much criticism, organizations affiliated with Anonymous announced late last week a full scale cyber war against the Islamic State (Operation Ice ISIS), intended to attack ISIS supporters using social media for propaganda purposes.

UN Warning: Most Nations Have Failed To Ratify Kyoto Protocol Extension

The UN has expressed concern that only a handful of countries have ratified an extension to the Kyoto Protocol, more than 18 months after they agreed to do so. Kyoto, the world’s only legally binding global emissions treaty, ran out at the end of 2012. At climate talks in Doha, December 2012, the 144 parties to the treaty agreed to extend the deal to 2020. However, so far only 11 have formally backed the amendment, despite an intervention by UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon in February 2013. Until all 144 parties deliver their “instruments of acceptance” to New York, the amendment will not enter into law. --Ed King, Reporting Climate Change, 4 September 2014

Obama's Trojan Horses, Glenn Beck and Christian Love

Insidiously, Obama is using beautiful needy illegal alien kids as perfect Trojan Horses to continue his fundamental transformation of America for decades. A Hudson Institute study shows that illegals granted amnesty by Obama are far less inclined to assimilate; embrace English, the concept of American Exceptionalism and respect our Constitution.

The Fed: Economy is Gloomy because Americans are "Hoarding Money"

The Fed: Economy is Gloomy because Americans are Hoarding Money
In a moment of recent hand-wringing, the Fed examined the question of why inflation has stayed extremely low in the United States despite all the efforts of quantitative easing money pumping. Their answer: American consumers are mainly to blame.

EU - has banned our vacuum cleaners and this is only the beginning

London, England –“That’s it! I’ve had it. I am voting UKIP (the party that wants separation from the EU) from now on!” my husband exclaimed to me this weekend when yet another store was out of stock of the high powered vacuum we wanted to buy before they were banned. He has been a Tory all his life, but this personal intrusion into how we decide to consume is consuming him with anger.

Russians: How are we supposed to end this crisis if Ukraine joins NATO?

You almost have to admire Vladimir Putin's nerve, but you shouldn't because that's when you start losing sight of the mayhem he's perpetrating. Putin knows how to parse language: To "end a crisis" in his vernacular means to make sure Russia gets everything it wants and the rest of the world backs off and accepts it.
