A Conversation with our government

Place: any Western country (like Sweden, Denmark, Germany, United States, etc.) Parties:

• We (the People),
• The guv (our government),
• They (non-Westernized migrants, immigrants, and refugees).

Curtain opens. We say: "Don't bring Them in. They are permanently incompatible with our society." The guv says: "We did not record any convincing evidence that They are incompatible, so we conclude that They aren't. We are bringing Them in." We [after they break the laws and inflict social damage] say: "Arrest Them for their wrongdoing and deport Them." The guv says: "They cannot be punished. It is not Their fault that They break the laws and inflict social damage. Those are good, well-meaning folks who just happened to be permanently incompatible with our society." We say: "This is outrageous. They hurt us and you refuse to do your job. Protect us!" The guv says: "You better get used to the fact that your society is going to be multicultural and diverse ["more diverse" in the case of the US]. If there is any incompatibility between you and Them, you better change so that They are not compelled to harm you, anymore." We say: "We don't want to change. Our society was functioning quite well and gave us individual liberty, social tranquility, and high living standards, before They came. We want to keep things that way." The guv says: "You are but a bunch of bigots, racists, xenophobes, haters, and right-wingers. You will be prosecuted and punished if you continue acting that way." Curtain falls.
