There probably aren't too many Democrats as loyal to the party as Howard Dean.
Donate

He served Vermont as a member of the Vt. House of Representatives, Lt. Governor, then Governor for 8 years. He ran for President on the Democratic ticket and he is the founder of Democracy for America, which recruits and trains "Progressive" candidates. He is also a Doctor who serves on the board of Green Mountain Cares, a state funded and managed insurance pool which is expected to cover nearly every resident of the State. Yet, even in the tiny state of Vermont, the roll out is experiencing bumps. In an op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal, Dean says the Vermont system won't save Vermonters a dime. Imagine that. He also affirmed the assertion by others that the "Independent Payment Advisory Board" will in in reality be rationing healthcare. That is the only way to interpret denial of payment for treatment. Now, that is a big____deal. A top Democrat admitting the obvious. Arnold Avery
